First time at Lucio's and let me say...WOW!!!! I was looking for a BYOB spot that had a nice atmosphere for dinner and a memorable meal....and by far, this was the place. Love the small, intimate feel I experienced as soon as I walked through the door. With the open kitchen, amazing aromas in the air, tasteful decor and evening mood lighting....what a perfect first impression. Service and hospitality are on point....and the food....AMAZING. Attention to detail on plating, we eat with our eyes :), portion size, and flavors....every bite was memorable. Started out with the Parmiggino-Reggiano Risotto with Lump Crab Meat...good lord. I had Hagner's Hanger Steak cooked spot on medium rare and melted in my mouth. Their version of chimichurri will bring me back to order this again. My friend had the Australian Rack of Lamb and wished we had not eaten all of the Risotto we had for an appetizer...lol. For dessert, we order the Vanilla Bean Orange Bourbon Creme Brûlée....wasn't a huge fan of the orange flavor, but it was still good. Next time will be the Brownie for sure. If your a foodie, and love a great atmosphere and the ability to bring one or two of your favorite wines and not have to be screwed with the normal 2.5 - 3 x markup restaurants normally put on wine....then THIS IS YOUR SPOT! Just please, save me a table :)

Lucio's was the best dinner we had while visiting Houston and it exceeded my expectations even from its great reviews! Shoutout to our waitress Irina. We had the lamb and the short rib. The short rib looked like a brownie on top of that yummy risotto and it melts in your mouth. The whole dish was impeccably crafted, with the greens and citrus foam melding so nicely into the flavors. The lamb's herb crust was amazing and it was cooked perfectly. I don't eat buckwheat basically ever and the buckwheat and chorizo side for the lamb was so good. Not pictured (because we ate it too fast) is the crab cake starter which has no fillers and all crab goodness. I'm a bit picky about crab cake and it was amazing. And the dessert!! The apple pie absolutely blew me away. It was rich and perfectly sweet. I am a huge fan of a good creme brulee and the texture of theirs was perfect and the flavors were so smooth and delicious. The blueberries were mulled in some herb that sang with the creme brulee.

We went to dinner yesterday. I want to start by saying Irina should train every single hostess out there, she is very funny and will take care of you like you’ve been coming in for decades. The place is warm, cozy, and has an elegant ambiance. The music level was just right - jazz. Onto the food, 1. Bread with homemade pesto - could smell it coming 😂 so good! 2. Soup of the day - mushroom - like a hug from your grandmother 3. 36 hour short rib: The portion is absolutely perfect for 1 person. presentation 10/10, flavor 11/10 when balanced with the crisp greens served aside. The citrus foam was a lovely palette cleanser between each bite. Parmesan risotto right at the consistency, but perhaps too salty for my preference. If BYOB wasn’t enough - their wine list is pretty decently priced and has a couple of fancy options for a special occasion All in all, a winner. Makes me want to be a regular

Let me start by saying that I did not know what this place was, but I drive past it when going to my home. After numerous attempts to get a reservation at the neighboring restaurant, I took to Yelp to find out what Lucio's is all about. My fellow Yelpers did not disappoint, and neither did Lucio's.

Getting a reservation here was easy, although when you add the acronym BYOB to the end of any place, it raises some questions.

We had guests in from town, and were seated immediately. Our server was amazing (sorry I did not get her name) and she offered suggestions. For starters, we ordered the Artisan Cheese Plate, which has some really tasty cheeses on it. We enjoyed that with the Silver Oak Cab that I brought in (there is a corkage fee but worth it IMO). On that note, they do offer wines there.

For my meal I ordered the filet mignon cooked medium rare. It was fantastic! Cooked to perfection and seasoned so well! Everyone at the table raved about the food and we all agree that it was the right choice to...

Our family gave Lucio’s a try after reading all of the wonderful reviews and it did not disappoint!

Service: our waitress, Irina, was pleasant, warm and hospitable! She treated us with so much care.

Food: we tried the crab cakes, goat cheese salad, calamari, filet mignon, rack of lamb and salmon and they were all cooked to perfection. For dessert, we tried the brioche- delicious. We truly enjoyed our experience.

Drinks: we took advantage of the BYOB option and brought our own wine. Please note that this option is for wine and champagne.

Ambiance: small yet spacious , intimate setting. All tables were filled with guests when we went (a Saturday night after 7pm). Lots of interesting art on the walls. I feel that the size of the restaurant added to the quality of the food. The chefs took their time making everything fresh.

Wait times: although the food is cooked from scratch, we did not wait long times to get anything. The service was choreographed in a seamless manner.

Parking: parking was easy- we used...
