Luloo’s Day & Night is the latest culinary sensation from the talented trio behind Blood Bros BBQ, and let me tell you, it lives up to the hype. After hearing my friends rave about it, I couldn't resist checking it out for myself, and I'm so glad I did. One bite of their Cheeseburger made with 44 Farms beef, and I was hooked. The flavor was out of this world, and you could tell that every ingredient was of the highest quality. My friend opted for the Fried chicken sandwich, and let me tell you, it was a game-changer. Juicy, flavorful, and downright delicious. But the goodness didn't stop there. We indulged in the highly recommended Cinnamon roll bread pudding and an oatmeal cream pie for dessert, and both were absolute showstoppers. It's clear that everything on their menu is crafted with care and attention to detail, with the bakery located upstairs ensuring that every bite is fresh and flavorful. Speaking of the menu, it's truly impressive. From a vast selection of sandwiches and wraps to salads and a solid kid's menu, there's something for everyone at Luloo’s Day & Night. And did I mention that everything is made in-house daily? It doesn't get much better than that. In conclusion, if you haven't already, do yourself a favor and run, don't walk, to Luloo’s Day & Night. You won't regret it.

It surprised me how wonderful little boutique type cafe is. We already had a lunch, just wanted to checkout the new place. LuLoo They decorated with little vases of flowers and cactus along with some books. It’s such comfortable and soothing place. I don’t drink coffee, but my friend Jenny loved their coffee .I liked the smells. We had a wonderful little blueberry pecan’s crispy pie. Eve had a delicious cheese sticks. Corbett is on diet, but he couldn’t help to eat the peanut butter cookies and oatmeal cream pie. These were only when we were in the store. When we walked outside. Out in the gated courtyard with artificial grass, full of children laughing, running and cheering with their mom and dad sat at patios enjoying their kids in the safe environment. Those will allow those children built their fun childhood memories and parents making new friends in the neighborhood.

I stopped by here for lunch on a Wednesday around noon and was pleasantly surprised by the cute space. Menu is short and sweet, and includes kid-friendly options. I went for the Turkey Club with a side of fries and a drink. The sandwich was super yum and had the perfect ratio of ingredients. I was a big fan of the sprouts (very old school) and the milk bread was delish. Fries were golden crisp on the outside, fluffy on the inside. Good, solid fries. Pretty tasty. Can’t complain. I also loved that they didn’t serve fountain drinks—cans only. Damage was $22.45 after tip. Already looking forward to my next visit!

I can't stop thinking about how much this place left me with so many thoughts. And not in a good way.

There was so much left to be desired.

My boyfriend and I ventured into the upper north side of the heights and we researched LuLoo's. We figured a nice Saturday brunch after a long week would be perfect.

The area that LuLoo's is in, gives you a really great family vibe. When we arrived, there were kids everywhere playing in the courtyard. Almost that City Centre type feel. If you've been. We had just missed the lion dance just by a few minutes. Nice to see community supporting others.

When we entered LuLoo's, there was a long line. We had just hit the lunch rush, so it was getting quite busy. From the owners of Blood Bros BBQ opening a quint breakfast/lunch, it felt like an honor to dine in.

However the service and food was quite a disappointment.

We were told that the kitchen was backed up and it would take about 30-40 min wait. Sure no problem, most places take at least that amount of time IF they are that truly backed up.

We ordered a cinnamon roll in which it looked quite delicious from afar. But Oh boy was I incredibly wrong.

Cinnamon Roll pictures and looks in person were quite deceiving. The moment we took our first bite, it was DENSE. It was hard. It disappointed me in so many ways. I was looking for a fluffy, melt in your mouth, cinnamon roll. Instead, what we received was disappointment. It felt like 5 day old cinnamon roll that got so stale with fresh icing on top. This was supposed to hold us over until we got our food. For $6.50, it was not worth the price. Don't let the size deceive you.

Turkey Club for something so easy to assemble, it somehow took long enough to be in that delayed state. I will say this a light and refreshing Turkey club. The added sprouts gave it that special texture. My boyfriend and I both agreed that we liked this the best

Cheese sticks we're always looking for a good mozzarella stick and marinara plate. Though, no cheese pull, it did have that melt in your mouth feel. Unfortunately it was too salty.

Fried chicken sandwich overall, it's quite good, but not good enough for the long wait. There was not enough chicken, if you see from the cross section picture. I had gotten so full from the cinnamon roll that I had no desire to finish my half of the sandwich.

French Fries your good standard fries. not much to rave about. also a la carte.

It took a total of 52 minutes from ordering, to receiving our food. I took a photo of the food spread and my watch showing the actual time. According to our receipt, we finished ordering at the cashier at 1:08. We weren't the only ones in the dining room waiting on our food. There were others as well.

When I scanned the room and people watched, half the people who dined in were also friends of the owners. It's different when you know the people and come support vs when you don't know them. I loved that their friends came in to support and dined in. However, with the long wait time, and rock hard pastry, I felt quite disappointed for a place making a name for itself.

Also, where are the prices on the menu? We looked up at the menu above the cashier and there are no prices. Surprise I suppose. Guess you'll find out when you get ringed up for your bill. Yikes.

For $56.08 (tax and tip) for a total of 6 items to be received 52 minutes later...thats ALMOST a dollar a minute for 6 items. lmao thats a stretch but its funny.

There was just so much left to be...

Very sad to have to leave this review because it’s not fully about the food itself, but our first time visit here left us disappointed. My husband and I stopped by to order takeout - he got a patty melt sandwich and I ordered an egg/potato taco. I made it clear to the nice lady taking my order that I did not want ANY spicy stuff on my taco (stomach issues). She assured me there’s nothing that comes on the taco that is spicy. When we got home, we first noticed my taco was packaged INSIDE my husband’s sandwich box, with the taco touching his sandwich, how strange! Was that to save on giving us an extra box? No idea. But with two separate people eating you’d think each needs their own packaging. Next I opened the taco and found it COVERED in a JALAPEÑO RELISH! Goodness, I wasn’t able to eat it at all! Also, I love cheese but I know people who cannot eat cheese/dairy. And it was covered in cheese too, which was not mentioned or listed on the menu! So that is something to watch out for! A restaurant really needs to do better with transparency on ingredients to their customers. My husband said his patty melt was pretty good so at least that. But overall we spent $22 inc tip for a...
