I recently had the pleasure of dining at Miri's Kitchen, and I must say, I was absolutely blown away by the delightful experience! This Persian cuisine gem undoubtedly deserves all the praise it receives.

From the moment I entered Miri's Kitchen, I was captivated by the inviting and cozy ambiance. The restaurant's warm and earthy tones, coupled with traditional Persian decor, created an authentic and welcoming atmosphere that instantly set the mood for a memorable dining experience.

Now, let's move on to the star of the show – the food! Miri's Kitchen truly excels in the art of Persian cuisine. Each dish was masterfully crafted, showcasing the vibrant flavors and unique spices that make Persian cuisine so special. The menu offered an extensive range of classic Persian dishes, ensuring there was something to satisfy every palate.

One dish that truly stood out was the succulent kebabs – tender, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection. Whether it was the juicy lamb or the tasty chicken, each bite was a delight. The fragrant saffron rice accompanying the kebabs was fluffy and aromatic, complementing the meat impeccably.

Another highlight was the mouthwatering khoresh, or Persian stews. Miri's Kitchen offers a variety of these rich and flavorful stews, and I had the pleasure of trying their classic Ghormeh Sabzi. The combination of herbs, vegetables, and tender chunks of meat made for a perfectly balanced and satisfying dish. It was a true explosion of flavors!

To top off the fantastic culinary experience, Miri's Kitchen offers a selection of delectable desserts that should not be missed. I couldn't resist trying their homemade rosewater-infused baklava, and it was divine! The delicate layers of flaky pastry, paired with the sweet honey and nut filling, left me wanting more.

The service at Miri's Kitchen was exceptional. The staff was attentive, friendly, and more than willing to accommodate any dietary preferences or allergies. Their knowledge of the menu was commendable, and they were always available to provide recommendations or answer any questions.

In conclusion, Miri's Kitchen is an absolute gem for anyone seeking an authentic and unforgettable Persian culinary experience. From the warm and inviting ambiance to the impeccable service and, most importantly, the remarkable dishes, this restaurant has it all. I wholeheartedly recommend Miri's Kitchen to anyone looking to indulge in the flavors of Persian cuisine. You won't be disappointed – it truly is a hidden...

Quite possibly the worst Persian food I have had at a restaurant in the world - and I mean world. I am Persian myself and grew up in LA. Granted my standards may be higher since LA is nicknamed "Tehrangeles" but still - I have had better Persian food than this literally everywhere - Kansas City, San Francisco, Paris, London, even here in Houston, Austin, and Dallas. We ordered the chicken with bone, sultani, and tahdig with Gheymeh. The Gheymeh stew was interesting in that it looked like it would be thick and flavorful but when you ate it, it tasted like water. The chicken wasn't at all seasoned with neither lemon nor saffron, which is what anyone making chicken kabob is supposed to season it with. The sultani also lacked flavor tremendously - koobideh for sure the worst u have ever had. This was the type of restaurant where you are sure no one persian nor anyone that has had Persian food must own it. Like "haven't you eaten this stuff a thousand times at family parties and all over the city to know what it is supposed to taste like"? And the prices were insane! $8 for baklava that was tiny. And we didn't order it - but filet kabob for $38?!?!?! Even in LA where inflation is way worst than here I have never seen such a price. Just look up "barg kabob" at other establishments such as the ones in Westchase and see how much they charge. Granted I know this place is adjacent to river oaks but still. There was a reviewer that apparently was Persian and said this place reminds him of home cooking. Either you are the son of this establishment, or your mom was a terrible cook. This didn't taste like any Persian food I...

If you're looking for an authentic Persian restaurant in Houston, look no further than Miri's Kitchen! From the moment you step inside, you'll feel like you've been transported to Iran, with the warm hospitality and delicious aromas of Persian cuisine filling the air. One of the standout dishes at Miri's Kitchen is definitely the lamb shank - it's simply out of this world! The meat is so tender and flavorful, you'll be left wanting more. But don't worry, there are plenty of other amazing dishes to choose from as well. Whether you're a fan of kebabs, stews, or rice dishes, you're sure to find something to love on the menu. But it's not just the food that makes Miri's Kitchen so special - it's also the people. The employees are some of the friendliest and most welcoming you'll find anywhere in Houston. They're always happy to make recommendations and help you navigate the menu. And the management team is simply top-notch - they truly make you feel like part of the family. One thing that sets Miri's Kitchen apart from other Persian restaurants in Houston is the quality of the food. Everything is made fresh, and you can really taste the difference. It's like eating homemade food, but even better! And don't forget to save room for dessert - the Persian ice cream is a must-try. Made in-house, it's rich, creamy, and bursting with flavor. Overall, I can't recommend Miri's Kitchen enough. Whether you're a fan of Persian cuisine or just looking for a new restaurant to try, you won't be disappointed. The food is amazing, the people are wonderful, and the atmosphere is truly special. Give it a try - you...

I have had the pleasure of dining at Miri’s Kitchen several times, especially during our company dinners, and each visit has been nothing short of extraordinary. From the warm hospitality to the tantalizing aromas that greet you upon entry, every aspect of the dining experience is impeccable. The ambiance transports you to the heart of Persia, with elegant decor and soothing traditional music playing in the background. The attention to detail is evident in every corner, creating an atmosphere that is both inviting and enchanting. Now, let's talk about the food. Oh, the food! Each dish is a masterpiece, bursting with authentic flavors and made with the finest ingredients. From the succulent kebabs to the fragrant rice dishes, every bite is a culinary delight. And let's not forget the appetizers and desserts, which are equally divine. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure that every guest feels welcomed and cared for. Their knowledge of the menu is impressive, and they are always happy to offer recommendations or accommodate any dietary preferences. Overall, at Miri’s it is more than just a restaurant; it's an experience. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply craving authentic Persian cuisine, this place never disappoints. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. Thank you, Miri’s Kitchen, for always exceeding our expectations and making our company dinners truly special.

Yes. The quality of the food is good. But a restaurant is not all about quality! I placed my order via phone for pickup. First, they answered the phone after calling 3-4 times. When I put my order, they said it is going to be ready in 25 mins but it took them 45 mins to get my food. Website has two sections lunch and dinner. I placed my order at 2 pm and I guess it makes sense to check the lunch menu. When I wanted to pay, the prices were different ($12 chicken with bone on website was $17 on check). I told them that the prices are different than your website and they said that this is the price for dinner. I asked dinner at 2:30pm?? So apparently the difference in lunch and dinner menu is that they are exactly the same, but dinner portion is larger and hence more expensive! Again, the quality was good but totally not worth the price you pay and the service you receive. Finally when I opened it, there were chicken with bone and without bone mixed in my order although I ordered chicken with bone. I also ordered cherry rice with nuts that there were very few cherry’s and nuts compared to the portion of rice.
