Mono's What can I say, the two pictures that you see above are separate times and those aren't even the times that I came back to back that same week three times to get the same plate. And I know if that plate right there hits every time I can't wait to try out the rest of the menu. Place has been open since about 2006 I believe. That's the first time I believe I came. And ever since then it was good back then and it was good now. I recommend everybody come and try it out. Leche con mango Beef smothered in onions was amazing with the red beans and rice. And that special sauce can't go wrong. I'll be back more.

This restaurant was a great find the staff was super friendly , the food is really good and their prices are great. I went for their lunch special which was Lomo encendido for the day. It was great the food was super fresh and scolding hot which for me is a must. The dish came with rice , beans , pork and plantains and cost 10.25 which is a great deal in my opinion . I will be returning for lunch!

We tried the strawberry shake, one chicken and one beef empanada, bistek de palomilla, and bistek a Caballo. All of it was absolutely delicious. We found a new spot and can't wait to come back. The pricing wasn't bad with how much you received, it was more than enough to have a second dinner. The servers were friendly and service was good. I would highly recommend.

Stopped by to try out the Bandeja Paisa and some beef empanadas…first of all the food had such great flavor. The rice was perfectly cooked and the steak was juicy and seasoned just right. The empanadas were big and golden yellow, crispy outside and filled up and warm inside.

As for the service; it was impeccable. My family and I were quickly acknowledged and seated. Our table was very clean and noticed all the countertops and throughout the restaurant was clean. The music playing was very inviting. I was also offered to try the chicken empanadas, platano with beans, and traditional Colombian drinks and I am so glad I was able to try it. It completed the meal!

It is service and food like the one Mono’s Colombian restaurant offers that everyone in Houston needs and must try. Thank you Monos staff, chefs, and entire team for bringing such an amazing food experience to us. Keep up the good work and can’t wait to...

I went in with an expectation of "itll be hard to order because I speak very little Spanish." However between my broken spanish and my waitresses broke english, we made it work. The customer service from everyone here was great. From our waitress to the lady who refilled my sweet tea, the staff was wonderful. I enjoyed most of my food. I didn't like the taste or the roughness of the carne asada. I thought it would have been more tender, but it wasnt. The beans, rice and plantains were good. My daughter liked her Cuban sandwich. I will definitely go back and try...
