Only BBQ stop around my side of downtown. Food is consistently blah. Ribs tend to be on the drier overcooked side. Brisket lacks deep flavor. Sausage is good. Salads are great. I had the brisket baked potato. Potato is small by BBQ joint standards and was generally dry with small.portions of sour cream and butter. Maybe 3 oz of chopped brisket. Had to order extra butter and sour cream for another $1.50. Meal cost was around $14.50 with a drink.
They are also very stingy on meat portions on plate dinners. Always tend to err on the side of Ottos, not you. Alot of BBQ joints seem to be addressing inflation by skimping on meat portions, so not just an Ottos issue.
Biggest takeaway is that this is serviceable BBQ if you want that and choices are limited. The other big BBQ joint in downtown is Pappas which is less flavorful, more expensive, and just as stingy. But if you want good BBQ, there are a ton of places nearby if...

Today I tried it again and it was absolutely horrible. I ordered a chopped beef sandwich and when I got back to my office and opened it up, it was a sliced beef sandwich cut with the grain of the brisket. The brisket tasted awful - like it was not safe to eat. Luckily, I got some chips along with my sandwich. Nothing like spending $13 on something you wouldn’t feed to a starving dog. My lunch went straight into the trash. I won’t be back. So...

So I have to say price wise it's hard to argue with. Breakfast has always been delish! But for lunch, we've gone there twice and both time my coworkers have found hair in their food. Today one of them found two hairs of the same color which tells me someone isn't wearing the proper equipment. Price and quality aside, that's enough to turn a person's stomach... Will not be going back...
