Upon my recent visit to this establishment, I must say that I was thoroughly disappointed with the overall dining experience. Although the bread was noteworthy, the same cannot be said for the rest of the dishes we ordered. The food was either overcooked, stale, or poorly prepared. Regrettably, it was a series of missteps that led to this underwhelming experience.

Despite expressing our dissatisfaction with the food, it was not until we stopped eating that the restaurant took action to rectify the situation. To their credit, the owner apologized for the poor quality of the dishes and personally prepared a new chicken parm dish for us, which we found to be quite enjoyable. However, the damage had already been done.

It is reasonable to expect a single dish to fall short of expectations, but unfortunately, this was not the case. We encountered multiple dishes that failed to meet basic culinary standards. While the owner's gesture was appreciated, it could not fully mitigate the negative experience we had.

*Response to owner’s response: Our mozzarella sticks arrived overcooked, as evident in the photos. Although they were crunchier than we preferred, we decided to overlook the mishap due to our intense hunger. The calamari, however, proved to be quite chewy, possibly due to them being left out for an extended period. My partner and her son opted out not to eat it fearing potential illness. In hindsight, I should have returned the dish.

Regarding the pizza, I specifically requested no black olives. The kind waitress acknowledged the mistake, and informed me of it when handing out the other dishes. She informed me they making another pizza without the olives. To my dismay, the “remade” pizza still contained black olives, albeit hidden beneath the cheese as if they just picked the black olives that were in view. This was truly unacceptable.

As for my partner’s pasta, it was not just slightly lumpy, but rather filled with hard lumps throughout, which made for a rather unappetizing experience.

I understand that being busy can be challenging, but it shouldn’t compromise the quality of the food. If necessary, the restaurant should consider reducing the number of tables to maintain high standards. In this instance, it’s essential for the restaurant to acknowledge its shortcomings, apologize, and make improvements to ensure future customers do not have a...

The food is very good. In fact sooo good we ate there twice in one week! The first time we went, our server disappeared after he brought us our coffee and dessert. I needed some half n half for our coffee, so after waiting 10 min, I went to to the bar area and asked for it myself. He was chatting it up with a much larger table in the main dining room. Not a deal breaker, just pointing out all the good and the bad. The second time we went we were in the main dining room and our server was wonderful. She was attentive and had good timing for everything. The food is excellent. I had the eggplant parm and second time I tried the scallops w/ angel hair pasta. Both delicious. My husband had the create your own both times with pasta and garlic and oil. We almost went back a 3rd time, but I decided to give another restaurant a try. Now for the entertainment. They singers sounded beautiful, it was the volume we disliked. It's a small restaurant and the singers didn't need to turn their volume up to be heard. It was hard to have a conversation while the music was playing. Also, the music selection should have been more like Fred Astaire, Dean Martin, as we expected to hear songs like "That's Amore", etc to match the ambiance of the beautiful restaurant and delicious food not the Beatles, Stevie Nick's, etc... I expected italian songs, but we didn't go for the music, we went for the food. If you want a delicious italian meal, this is...

What a cozy restaurant! So happy we chose this place based on the wonderful reviews! A really great dining atmosphere, great staff, beautiful interior dining area, nice patio area, and the food is so delicious!!! Our server, Marissa, was terrific!! She took her time to point out certain dishes to make the ordering decision easier! Thanks for that! 😉 Marissa was patient and gave us time to make the right decision on our order! The food was exactly as she said it would be, so delicious and tasty! After our main dish was completed, here she comes with the dessert tray! 😜 Oh my, what delicious desserts they offer! All i can say is you cannot go wrong with choosing this restaurant for a quick bite, watch a game at the bar area, or a date night! If you try this off my review and like what I ssid, hit the like button!! We will be back! Came into town from Sealy, and so happy we did!! 👍💯😁 Almost forgot the live music! It was nice touch while dining! And wasn't loud that we couldn't engage in decent conversation at our table, it seems everything was picture...
