DO NOT COME HERE!
I was extremely disappointed at the disrespect that I encountered as an Uber Eats delivery driver today. When I walked into the very, very hot restaurant, after initially thinking they were closed because there were no lights on in the front (only the kitchen), I patiently waited for another customer to pick up his order, and stood even longer while the “owner” decided to take a phone order in front of me, instead of at least asking the caller to hold for a second while he asks what I’m picking up ( that was too much like right).
The “owner” then hangs up the phone, and did he help me right away? NOPE! He pretended to be doing something on the screen, and eventually sighs and says “sorry” in the most non genuine way possible. After a few more minutes of standing there sweating, he decides to ask how he can help me. I proceed to tell him who I’m picking up for, then two staff members ( who also looked very afraid to approach him) ask about a separate Uber order that was not mine. He then begins to speak to me about that order until I tell him again that my order is not the one they approached him about.
At this point, he tells me “ oh we don’t have tea. Call or message the customer and let them know that we don’t have drinks. Only pizza and wings.” Mind you, he should have made note of that within his Uber account for his restaurant, because he is the owner, right? As I am standing there, my phone dies right after I message the customer, so I go to my car to charge it for a few, just enough to get the customer’s response and retrieve his order. As I run back in to get the order, my phone dies again. I have been without power for 7 days myself, and have worked every single day after the hurricane, and it has been a struggle to do so and keep a fully charged phone ( I have to sleep in my car as well, just to charge it at the end of the night and stay cool).
I let the “owner” know that I can’t close out the pick up right in front of him because my phone keeps dying ( and he keeps prolonging the pick up). He then tells me to go charge it while I wait for the food to be ready. Mind you, the box of pizza that I was there to pick up is now sitting on the counter, ready to go. He says “ no, I have to get the other items”. I then remind him that he said there are no drinks, so all I needed was the pizza, and since Uber has already charged the customer for a drink, they will need to mark the item as missing to get a credit for it. He begins asking me if I contacted the customer, and repeatedly asked “did they answer?”, knowing that my phone was dead. I began trying to explain how Uber will handle this issue, and he rudely cuts me off, saying “ I don’t care about how Uber operates, I’m the owner, and this is my store, and I don’t want a bad review!”. I then tell him that his attitude is diabolical, and that he has no reason to be disrespectful, so he tells me that I can just leave.
I then tell him “ you know what? I’ll go charge my phone, and then I will pick up this order, and will file a complaint on you”. As I’m already out of the wide open door, he yells “EFFING IDIOT!”, then proceeds to call me ghetto for yelling at him back, and acts like he called the police.
Little Caesars would never treat an Uber delivery driver that way, and they were jammed packed. Not only did he cause unnecessary drama at his own establishment, but he also prolonged a hungry family and possibly a child from eating during this tough time. Disgusting, piss poor behavior from the owner. I’m sure I’m not the first he has mistreated. He should not be in business. Eat...
Read moreFirst off, the pizza is very good. I've gotten the Sicilian crust, grandmas pie, and the regular thin crust. All were very good.
Having said that, every time I call to put in an order, I'm given a time of about 30 minutes until my pizza is ready for pickup. I get there around 30 minutes after I call, expecting my pizza to be ready or just about ready, and every single time I have to wait an extra 30 minutes at least. Last time I was told 30 minutes like always, and I even waited about 40 minutes to get there, but I was told they were just now PUTTING IT IN THE OVEN when I got there.
Look, sometimes you get busy. I understand that, but I wish I would be given a more accurate, honest time for when my pizza will be ready. I live about 20-25 minutes away so I try and plan to get there when I'm told the pizza will be ready, and it's pretty frustrating to have to go and sit up there an extra half hour or more once I get there.
Also, on busy weekends, please hire some people to just answer the phone and take orders. It's almost impossible to even get through in the phones when it's a busy weekend, and when you finally do you're put on hold for 10-15 minutes.
Overall pizza is good, but customer care leaves a little to be desired.
Edit** just to further emphasize the above concerns, I recently tried putting in an order for pickup over the phone. This is several weeks after the above part of my review. I was put on hold for over 10 minutes, so I finally hung up and called again. When I was asked to be out on hold again, I said I’d already been put on hold for over 10 minutes. The girl told me she was helping walk in customers and they were busy. She also seemed a little upset that I brought up the fact that I’d already been on hold a while.
I realize the place can be busy. That’s understandable, but to ask a customer to sit and wait on hold for 10-15 minutes is not acceptable. You’re telling me that some other person can’t take 60 seconds to grab my order on the phone?
Once again, the pizza is good but the customer service is not. Either hire more workers to keep up with orders or come up with a better system to take phone orders. I really like the pizza, but I may have to start looking elsewhere since these experiences are a...
Read moreOrdered a meal for Christmas eve to be picked up at 8pm, order accepted and confirmed. But to all avail when I did enter the restaurant to pick up my order and I asked the two younger individuals "working/leaning" at the counter waiting to finish closing shop, told me they were closed right after I asked about my order to pick up. When I asked again, the two looked at each other in confusion and said something about a manager needed to check the system. After waiting for about 3-5 minutes a manager came in and quickly found my order to help me out. The two individuals that I initially asked for my order for we're literally hovering/leaning on my packed food which they immediately knew when the manager called for it. I signed, tipped (which at this point I shouldn't have, but hey! It's Christmas) said my good byes and left. What I didn't expect was for the order to be wrong when I got home. Caesar salad with Ranch dressing.. Calzone with no marinara Pork shanks with the incorrect dip. I guess I should've checked my order while in the building but hey its Christmas and people want to go home. Food was good/okay? I imagine it would've been delicious had it been that the order had been correct. The two individuals that I spoke with at first were the ones to pack up my good and was their mistake. Not the end of the world, but for my 9 month pregnant wife, this wasn't cool. I get trying to get out of work, but please don't accept an order that can't be made to quality if you can't. For those two, I would suggest to have a talk with them about being clear on their answers, be aware of to go orders and how to manage them and be hospitable. A simple "we have your order but need a manager to confirm before handing it over" would've been awesome! Instead of letting me linger around thinking that you all lost my order. My order being correct would've been even better.
At some point I'll try and stop by again, but my last experience gave me nothing to brag about but just ways to show my wife that I can bandage situations at last minute. Thanks but no thanks. Regardless,...
