Manager on duty at 5pm on January 6th 2024 needs to be fired immediately.
I had been here previously and it was sooo good. The ladies behind the bars are sweet angels. I spent $80 for myself because they were sooo sweet and polite. I left 2 crisp blue face $100 bills... This guy was not managing this time.
Now my experience with 5pm on Jan 6th 2024 was horrible. I was in such a good mood. My boy Rick Ross's cousin and I were meeting. He was riding on a turtle apparently.. so I parked and waited for 30 minutes. I had $3000 cash in my pocket. He had $10 racks on him and knows a big money investor in hospitality..
We were about to walk in and this manager busts out the door and walks towards us in a kinda he gonna kill us manner. RUDE OF HIM... It cost those sweet angels the record of their entire career tip for a 2 top. We were also investigating the chain, because it is a cool concept...
I was driving my 1999 GMC YUKON SHORT BODY WITH THE BARN DOORS. The paint is about to get sprayed. The 26" wheels are not on it for this reason... so it look I had been parked in a spot that had a truck in it last time I had visited...
I feel he came out and vehicle discriminated on me... thinking I was not worthy of walking inside due to me driving my 15 year olds 16th birthday present.....
He is in a agitated demeanor then screams I'm not in an official parking spot so I can drive over to some dirt lot where the trash people are allowed to park is how it sounded to me...
There are 3 cars taking up 5 spots in the front. I said ok.. I'll move to the trash unworthy of front spot status people parking.
But can you also fix these spots... he threatens me with being arrested right away if I don't follow his commands. He refuses to answer me that question of fairness and justice

Sit down. One of the ladies that split a $130ish tip was sooo sweet and smiling and said hey its you!
King of all that his eyes csn see is looking at that and gets upset this hard working woman who should be your manager is smiling at me and respecting me...
I thought that was rude and I know horrible baby of boys like this will punish her after I leave... I ask her if she has had a better tip that was split to another girl since I had been there last?
She said not even close... I said girl you're about to be blessed even more today... she smiled sooooo wide .. thst made my day that the destroyer of all that is positive had sucked out of me in 5 minutes of dealing with his ignorance
I didn't notice he was still staring at me like he wanted to kill me during this time and AGAIN he charges towards me in a HARRIS COUNTY CRIMINAL COURT DEFINITION OF AN ASSAULT CHARGE... No exaggeration at all...
He says sir. If you continue to be a problem I will call the police and have you removed??? Wow... I said look bud I complied with your demands despite there being no do not park signs anywhere at the spot lord of all that is NOT SUCCESSFUL demanded me to do...
And you couldn't even acknowledge that he should've asked the 3 cars double park blocking 5 spaces to do the EVEN LESS THAN I DID FOR HIM... AND STILL CAME BACK TO ENJOY THE AWESOME FOOD AND TIP A LADY THAT SHOULD BE HIS BOSS AND ONLY ALLOW HIM TO CLEAN THE COMODES, BECAUSE HE SUCKS THE SMILES AND POSITIVITY OUT OF ALL HE LOOKS AT..

Food Quality:The flavors of the dishes were excellent, and I thoroughly enjoyed the main courses. However, I was disappointed by the small portion of vegetables I received—only one small piece of onion. A more generous serving of vegetables would have enhanced the meal.
Service Fee: The 20% service fee added to every bill was the biggest issue for me. I was informed that this fee doesn’t entirely go to the staff, which seems both unnecessary and a bit unfair. It also impacts how much customers are likely to tip, as they might assume the service fee covers it. It would make more sense to slightly increase menu prices instead of imposing a service fee that feels somewhat off-putting and potentially misleading.
Cleanliness: While I didn’t notice any issues with the tableware, the external window glass had noticeable oil marks, likely from someone’s head. This detracted from the overall ambiance and made me question the attention to cleanliness in the restaurant. A clean and well-maintained environment is essential for an enjoyable dining experience.
Overall Impression: Despite these concerns, the quality of the food might bring me back at some point. However, I sincerely hope that by then, the service fee is reconsidered or, at the very least, transparently explained and fairly distributed to the staff. Read moreI’ve visited this location on numerous occasions. The parking at this location is tricky due to the location of the restaurant but they’ve added parking in a lot across the street which is a little helpful when the lot isn’t full.
Overall the food is good. This is the primary reason I’ve given this restaurant more than one try.
The service in this establishment is less than satisfactory every time I come. I generally have a pick up order. I’m almost never greeted when I enter the establishment. Once I’m at the register waiting to pick up my order easily 10 minutes or more go by before I’m acknowledged by any staff member. When I am there I usually see between 3-5 people working behind the counter and they make eye contact but won’t speak, let you know they’ll be with you momentarily or anything. One specific instance I came a young lady was on her cell phone at the register simply socializing. Obviously life happens unexpectedly so someone may need to take a call while on shift but it certainly shouldn’t be at the register in front of customers.
I’ve given this restaurant multiple tries because I believe that sometimes people just have bad days and didn’t deliver their best. I’m beginning to think this is just the standard for the experience here and I likely won’t be returning to patronize...
