Holy Rosary Church — Attraction in Houston

I feel bad for leaving a negative review for a church but wanted to warn others. If you plan on getting your child baptized here, the admin personnel and the priests don’t seem to be on the same page. I don’t know if they’re racist or what but don’t understand why we could not baptize our child along with the white family after the 12:30 PM mass as planned. Instead, the priest told us to wait for the Asian priest who would do the baptism right after. We ended up having to wait until 2:20 pm and the asian priest had no idea about us. We had family and people who came from out of town so that’s why we chose this church to be more centrally located for everyone. It was frustrating that we were forgotten about when I had even confirmed via email about the baptism date and time a few days in advance. I also felt as if the Asian priest was rude during the baptism ceremony. All I did was ask if he wanted the Saint name or her full name bc I could not understand him due to his accent. His response to me was rude and uncalled for. This baptism experience...

My wife and I use to love this church, so much so that we got married here. HOWEVER, since then we've had several run-ins with vagrants behaving inappropriately within the church property it self. The most recent and final incident for us was when a vagrants, who had been bathing himself in the cry room bathroom for +25mins, stepped out and just stood and gazed at my two children. A little while after that, he made a threatening hand gestures at someone passing through the room and then began to approach my children. I managed to run him out of the room and got the police officer that stops traffic involved.

A beautiful church- I could not help but reflect on the sacraments that have been administered at this beautiful church- where the tall ceiling is that of a ship - as we are on a journey from mortal life to eternal. How many people have worshiped, been nourished, prayed rosaries and blessed themselves in the light of these gorgeous stained glass windows, and under the loving gaze of our Father and Holy Mother. I was there during the Covid pandemic in 2020. I recall and pray for those present during the 1918 Spanish Flu epidemic. Mary conceived without sin,...
