I made reservations to eat here on Easter Sunday. We arrived at the restaurant and drove around 5 or 6 times looking for a parking space. I didn't see any parking available, there was no valet, and the restaurant wasn't answering the phone. We walked in to be seated, then went to the restroom. It was really tiny in there with only one stall open, there was no tissue or soap in the restroom had to wait in the restroom while staff went and looked for both. We sat down to order then we were told they were not serving anything on the regular menu for the exception of crawfish and oysters and were only selling brunch had I known that I would have never made reservations we didn't come there to eat brunch it was 2pm after church no longer wanted brunch. We ordered something we really didn't want, and there wasn't much to choose from. We got our food and asked for an extra plate, didn't get it, and had to ask again. We asked for syrup and hot sauce, but we never got it. We received one small little thin piece of fish with our food. and when they brought out the small plate of cornbread, they didn't bring extra plates to eat on nor any napkins. The waitress really wasn't that helpful. and no one else spoke english. Never received any of the condiments we asked for so finally I got up and walked to the front door to find someone who spoke english to ask yet again for condiments, by this time food had gotten cold and we really didn't even want the food at this point. We also ordered lemon drops and there was no sugar on the rim i mentioned it to the waitress she said you have to request it, something else we also didn't know until after we received the drinks, with the amount of time to get all these things we asked for we just said forget it, paid for the bill $140.00 for stuff that wasn't ate. We had a terrible Easter dinner we WILL NOT BE COMING BACK! worst service we have ever...
Read moreIf I could leave zero stars I would. I came one Friday for happy hour and the place was empty. It took 20 mins to receive our drinks and the food it took almost 1hr 30 minutes to get and these were small dishes ordered. Our server only checked on us when it was time to bring a drink or some food to the table. We asked if they could bring our food together since it was ordered together and they said no they cannot do this so this ended up being like 40 minutes for one of my dishes then it took another 20 minutes for my other dish and then add on another 20 for my guest dish. When I complained and asked for management the waitress told me it would be a moment as there were other complaints. The manager a young rude Asian guy asked us what we would like and we agreed to getting one more drink since she didn’t get to enjoy happy hour. He agreed to 2 of the $2 shots instead of an actual drink. So as we are waiting the waitress comes with the check (still no shots) so I walk in the door and she the manager offering a group of ladies a discount after the denied the shots he tried to offer them AS I SHOULD HAVE ORIGINALLY But I was trying to be nice. I eventually said after waiting 15 minutes that we would walk downstairs to the bar and ask for a refund instead of those water down $2 happy Hour shots . He pretty much told us he would only take $4 off of our $70 bill and that was that. He was very rude and I even reported this information to info@gazebos but nobody messaged me back just showing how poorly managed this place really is. It kind of upset me because I was really looking forward to this place being a nice spot for my happy hour on Fridays but I’d much rather go elsewhere due to the service and experience I had. The food was good but hey…. That’s IF you get your hot as that was the complaint of the other...
Read moreOn my recent visit, I encountered multiple issues that reflect a pattern of misleading advertising and intentional customer manipulation:
False Advertisement of Drink Specials: Gazebo advertised $3 frozen lemon drops and $1 margaritas. However, upon arrival and ordering, I was told the frozen lemon drops “were not ready” and that $1 margaritas were not available—nor were they listed on the menu. These misleading claims were key factors in choosing to visit the establishment. Happy Hour Manipulation and Unreasonable Delays: My party and I waited over an hour for our food to be served, a delay that appeared intentional to limit access to the posted happy hour specials. Such practices are unacceptable and may be viewed as an attempt to manipulate ordering times to avoid honoring promotional pricing. False Promotion of Free Crawfish with Drink Order: Gazebo also promoted a deal offering a free pound of crawfish with a drink purchase. Despite following the terms of the promotion, no crawfish was provided, and staff offered no explanation or resolution when questioned. Horrific Customer Service: Throughout the experience, staff were unresponsive, dismissive, and failed to provide any accountability or customer care. Attempts to clarify the discrepancies were met with indifference. These actions demonstrate a disregard for consumer rights and reflect dishonest business practices that mislead patrons for financial gain. I am requesting that this matter be investigated and that Gazebo be held accountable for deceptive advertising and poor...
