Waterfall Cafe — Restaurant in Houston

The self service kiosk are less than desirable. A hospital employee suggested that we order at the register and the older woman was very helpful. Unfortunately the staff preparing the food acted like they wanted to be anywhere but here. I was told to inform the people making up the order that it was 2 separate orders and the first person who I told informed me it was someone else that would help me, only to have her go on break. The gentleman that came out from the back was so rude and spoke unpleasant language that it completed a rather unpleasant experience. I think the staff needs to be reminded that everyone in there would rather be anywhere but where they are at if they had a choice. My husband and I will eat in our rooms before experience this...

We had a wonderful breakfast here yesterday. I wish we had gotten the name of the talented short-order cook, who made me a delicious omelet, at the same time he made my husband a buttermilk pancake. And he was making another patron a breakfast sandwich, and also some other kind of specialty pancake for a 4th person. He was working on a large, flat griddle. Watching him perform his magic was almost as much fun...
