Subway — Restaurant in Houston

Dont get me wrong i love subway but this was crazy to me. I placed an online order today 8/26/2025 and got there at the designated time it stated it was ready. Once im there this young lady working here tells me theres no meatballs for the meatball sub i ordered. Thats fine so i asked for a partial refund since I had another sub on the order and still wanted it. Neither of the two women working at the time understood english and i didnt understand spanish so we ended up using a translator. The older woman said they would not be able to cancel the order on their end or give me a refund ( which doesnt make sense because they literally had the receipt in hand and couldve given me the refund). We had a bit of back and forth conversation trying to resolve it but sadly I didnt have the time so I left and am deciding to dispute the charge with my bank. It was very frustrating and I find it hard to believe they couldnt just give me the refund. Oh and on top of this the younger lady working there was also laughing the entire time at the situation, personally I think thats irresponsible but maybe...

Almost every time I go over to this subway ,they don't have meatballs. Not in the afternoon or night time .I went there the other day and they didn't have meatballs and they didn't even have the herbs and cheese bread. I understand that the bread is popular and sometimes it runs out quickly but I worked at Subway before ,meatballs have always been popular so when we would run out of meatballs ,we would let the customer know and go back to the freezer and then heat it up in the microwave but it seems to me like the staff is always to lazy to do that. So the first thing that they do is tell us that their out so it will make things easier for them. This subway is not reliable, I can not count on them to have something that is advertised on the menu because this subway is always out of something. Walked and the ladies where having a friendly and 'loud' conversation, nothing wrong here, but then when I walk up to have my order taken the youngest lady changes her voice from normal to whispers. She doesn't greet, doesn't ask what you need (or at least you can't hear it), just stares at you waiting for you to figure if she is ready to take your order. When it was time to pay, she didn't even ask if I wanted drink or chips, which I intended to, and proceeded to tell me my total, I told her I wanted the chips and it felt that she got annoyed by that. Two times I have had my order taken by her and two times it's been the same; it feels like she just wants to get the h* out of there. I sat down and their conversation resumed, which I could clearly hear from where I was eating. The place is clean and the food is good, but the service is one of the worst I've experienced...
