my girlfriend and i came here on a whim. we felt extremely judged from the moment we walked in. when we got there a waiter walked past us so we went to sit ourselves at the bar. we ordered one appetizer and an avocado toast and it took over 40 minutes. no food still, so my girlfriend and i decided we were going to leave. a random man who apparently was the owner came up to me asking me many questions as to why we were leaving even though he was literally standing in front of us the entire time we were waiting. the owner made me very uneasy, and he was clearly upset that we no longer wanted to be there. i asked for a to-go box and still offered to pay for the avocado toast that had finally came out because my spinach dip still wasn’t ready. my girlfriend no longer wanted it. will not come back again. the atmosphere & experience was all around uncomfortable. nonetheless our waitress was so wonderful and so sweet and the presentation of the food i did see...

Nice place, food was great.

Service, however, was horrific We chose to sit outside wince it was a nice day. The place was not busy, nor did they look short staff, but the waitress took 30-45 minutes each time she came to take our drink/food order, even getting our check took forever. During the waiting intervals, various staff would come out and ask if everything was okay. Although, it wasn't their job, we would tell them that we are waiting on our waitress to get our order, and they would kindly take it for us. Again, it wasn't their job, but they put more attention to us then the actual waitress.

When I got the check, I went inside to pay, thinking I would get quicker service. I did, but I was charged twice because they forgot to add the gratuity.

If you do decide to visit them, try sitting inside or at the bar, maybe you'll get...

Worst night ever. We made reservations for the Valentines 4 course meal. We waited for 2 hours, people were seated before us at the table we reserved and given food before us even though we had made reservation days before. I am so disappointed. I live at the Star Houston just upstairs (we order food all the time) and had to take a walk of shame after receiving no food and even was encouraged to leave because of the slow management. The only person who was accommodating was the bartender who stepped up to take our order from across the room. Even though we didnt get our food we really appreciate her. I really hope that they fix these issues. I wish they didnt make that valentines special if they weren’t equipped or ready to accommodate. Our night ended with us eating ramen noodles at home on our couch. At least we had each other...

Wonderful new restaurant at the heart of downtown Houston. My friends and I tried the Arod happy hour cocktail which reminded me of a cosmo. Quite tasty and refreshing. The drink is actually spelled backwards and named after the owner's wife Dora. We also had the tator tots and bianco pizza. My sister loved the pizza. I decided to try the burger as my main entree. The beef was excellent quality from 44 farms and the poppyseed bun complimented it nicely. Our friend also enjoyed his chicken pasta dish. The owner said hello and kindly helped us get complimentary valet when my friend accidentally misplaced his ticket. We really loved that personal touch. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and wonderful start to our night out in downtown Houston.

Oh boy was this place good. For the appy, got the Hot "Wings", which is a cauliflower fried in hot sauce. They definitely had a kick to them. Followed it up with The Nash burger. Meat was thick and flavorful, and the fries were on point with the right seasoning and crunch to them. Then, they had a couple of desserts that had me interested, but was full from everything else, I settled for the Downtown Espress, an espresso martini of a sort. If I'm ever in Houston again, definitely will be coming back. Little on the pricier side but definitely worth it.
