I haven't written a review for George (mostly because I want to keep him "lowkey" for as long as I can) but I can't any longer. I've been going to George for more than a year now since he moved to his new place on Fannin. I can sum him up in one word: CLASS. George is extremely versatile with his cutting - he is obviously great with his razor, but his scissor work is very much underrated. I'm very nitpicky and particular when it comes to my hair (I have Asian hair, so straight, but my hair is very coarse and full, not thin). Only reason why I'm saying this is because George observed that right away, along with the double-crown I have in the back of my head. He does not miss a single detail. He takes the time to really see your entire head and cuts to make sure nothing is out of place. He always gives me extra time to cut my hair, wash it, and if need be, shave my edges, EVEN when a customer is waiting. All you need to do is talk with him what you're looking for, and he gets it. He knows his stuff. He has cut for celebrities, and the everyday working person. I would recommend George to anyone looking for professionalism, knowledge, and precision when it comes to your hair. Love this place! This barbershop is a hidden gem in Downtown Houston. I'm a native Houstonian and this has been the best experience, by far.

The environment is very laid back and comfortable. Most importantly though, you really get a quality haircut. He understood the exact look I was going for and was really good at helping me define exactly what I wanted. To my surprise, midway through the haircut, he shampooed my hair which I appreciated very much. Its actually apart of the normal routine, along with a razor line at the end of the cut in order to really make the haircut crisp and last longer. Great value for $25.

It is very hard to find a good barber everytime I go TDY especially when you’re new in the area. I usually just trust the reviews I read online and go with it. Since I’m here for 2 months, I started looking for a good barbershop and happen to come across Exclusive Kutz with great reviews, so I called and made an appt right away. I came for my first appt about a month ago and been back ever since on a weekly basis! GREAT BARBER!!! Hands down! These reviews are legit. G is very professional and easy to work with when it comes with making an appt. He takes his time with all his clients and never notice him rush with any of his clients even when he has 7-8 ppl waiting for their cuts. A1 BARBER!
