Terrible communication!!! The "owner" just called me with broken English saying he did not see me in the restaurant therefore the complaints I made during my survey was a lie. However the receipt I have I used my personal credit card to purchase the food.I was in the drive thru having the worst time ordering ever and instead of the manager calling to correct the problem he called me a liar and said I never came into that location because he was there. I am extremely disappointed at who is being hired as management for this establishment because until now Wendy has had a higher standards than other fast food chains. This is disgusting the way the manager called my phone extremely unprofessional & absolutely disrespectfully. He should not be employed at this location or any of the Wendy's franchises. He stated he owned this Wendy's and there is no one else that we can speak with. I would like the corporate owners to take a look at this receipt and the phone call that was being recorded by Wendy's. There is absolutely no excuse that any employee should call a customer and call them names when clearly I am in the right. I would like for someone more professional to reach out because this complaint will not go away. I feel very offended and my food was wrong. Needed Food - Hungry . I Generally Like Wendy's .... Ordered Chicken Sandwich Meal with Sweet Tea for drink . Requested nicely if they would add just a little Lemonade to flavor my tea . Was Denied Request By Manager . Said ok and waited for food . Only myself and 1 other guy at counter waiting for food an maybe 6 people in seating area . Not Busy or whatever ... Sat eating my food that was pretty good and wondered why my request was denied ? The Manager didn't have to go out and pick a Lemmon and squeeze it into my tea . I assume the Lemmonade is a Concentrate . How expensive is a teaspoon of this stuff ? 🍋 . After eating I Nicely asked the lady if she was Manager . Yes . I told her that with All Due Respect - Her Customer Service Skills Needed A Whole Lot Of Improvement . I also informed her that I'm 61 Yrs. Read moreHorrible. The person at the drive thru was holding 2 conversation, taking my order and the other with someone else in the store, over the drive thru speaker. Very unprofessional... Minimum wage employees, but at least make an effort. I pulled up and paid and was asked to back up away from the window, where I waited for 5 minutes I was then told to drive around and wait for at least 3 more minutes and then I was given my fries. 4 minutes later I was given my chicken sandwich. (The reason for all the shuffling at the drive thru was so that their horrendously long wait times wouldn't show up on the drive thru timer, if you do go here refuse to back up or drive around when they aren't busy.) Due to all the strangeness of my visit I decided to check my order immediately. The bun on the sandwich was cold, and the chicken was lukewarm. The "ghost pepper" fries were stale and also lukewarm and had 5 whole jalapeños which looked like they came from a can and were not chopped as per advertised.
