Whataburger — Restaurant in Houston

I just want to say thank you to the Manager of this whataburger. When I ordered my food there was a slight miscommunication which I am partly to blame. I should have been more clear but I digress when when I went up to the counter to let them know I was met with such excellent cover customer service and professionalism from the manager and the employee who took my order. They were very apologetic and could see how that mistake could be made. Not only did she offer to remake it but also offered me a full refund mind you I had ordered more than just that one item which I was taken aback and said that a full refund was totally unnecessary because the rest of the order was just fine but when I waited for them to make my order for the item which took one minute I was handed a receipt with a full refund. This is the reason I am writing this review. The rest of my order was excellent and delicious as well as the food was prepared in the way it looks in the pictures and maybe even slightly better. The restaurant is extremely clean the staff is so polite they all have Smiles on their faces when I looked around the room it was morning time and I saw a group of older gentleman sitting and chatting and having a good time drinking their coffee and eating their breakfast so I will definitely be coming back even though there's a couple of other Whataburgers closer to my house. Thank you for providing such a relaxing and easy going environment in a fast food restaurant. Thank you to the female manager that took care of me that morning and to the wonderful staff that made my order I'm sorry I can't remember the manager's name but I'm sure the Whataburger higher-ups we'll figure it out and hopefully give her a raise or something....

I don't usually do reviews but I just had to give this whataburger a review because they have been FANTASTIC!!!! My sister in law and her husband are visiting from Sweden. We stopped by whataburger for lunch on 8/1/19. I mentioned to the cashier that it was their first time in the US and first time at whataburger so it might take us a minute to order while they figure out the menu. The cashier, Wendell, was amazing!!!! She told the manager, Dana, and she welcomed us too!! They gave us each a free Dr. Pepper milkshake to try. They gave my brother in law extra fries because he was super hungry haha and then to top it off, when we were done with our meal, they brought out an adorable welcome gift box with some keychains, cookies, coozies, and fruit snacks!!!! I have never seen service like this and I am born and raised in Texas. I am beyond proud of this Texas establishment. I will ALWAYS come back to this Whatabuger!!! Outstanding service!!!! Consistently having problems at this location. Fries often have so much salt on them as to be inedible. Touching the fries made here makes your hands feel like they are covered in sand. Careless mistakes made such as placing honey mustard instead of honey butter, because both have yellow tops. Before someone points out they both start with "honey", the containers actually have honey in very small letters and "BUTTER" or "MUSTARD" covering 1/2 of the top of the container. The shift supervisor or manager (unclear which) walked away from the register and told someone in the kitchen to take our order when I walked in, choosing instead to lean in the kitchen and work on paperwork. While I appreciate making sure that someone is at the register, why are you doing your paperwork in the kitchen where I and other workers can see you doing this and taking up valuable counter space rather than using the office? While waiting for the food to come out I was able to see and hear said supervisor or manager telling people in the kitchen to do things, without looking away from the paper or stopping their paperwork.
