Visited J. Junaid Jamshed at Hill Croft avenue in Houston today. I was with my cousin and my brother & wanted to picked out a nice waistcoat to match the white KURTA & PAJAMA which we already picked out for my cousinâs Nikkah ceremony. The waistcoat we picked out was the color that we were looking for however; the waistcoat was missing a button. I requested the manager to please replace it with a new one or fix the button. I was told that there is no replacement available and the button cannot be fixed either. I asked them as to why they put a damaged product on the sales floor? I had to compromised on the color of the waistcoat since we were cramped for time and we had to purchase one; I humbly requested the manager at the location to please give me some discount on the outfit that I am purchasing since you cannot fixed the damaged product nor you are able to get me a replacement. The female manager flat out refused and said she cannot offer me any type of discount since she she is answerable for everything to her bosses. I requested her that as a manager she has the right to give me discount if they cannot fix or find a replacement for the damaged product they had displayed on the sales floor. I reminded her that J. Junaid Jamshed is an irrefutable name in the industry and this is not the treatment I expected to get at J; where I am a frequent visitor and a regular client. I went all the way from Spring TX to do shopping at J. I am simply baffled that even though they are running a retail giant in the U.S yet they very ill informed about the basic ethics of customer service and customer rights. It seems like their Desi Mentality of doing business which revolves around take it or leave it is prevailing and been promoted at a place where one would least expect to happened considering the credibility and fame of J. I had a terrible experience at Junaid Jamshed - Houston, and I will definitely not be shopping here again. Their customer service is absolutely horrendous, and the staff is extremely rude and unhelpful.
I recently purchased some clothes online at full price and needed to exchange them for my kids because we have an important event this weekend. I was well within their 14-day exchange policy, yet they refused to let me exchange the items simply because they had a sale going on. How does that even make sense? A real business that values its customers would offer store credit for the original purchase price, allowing me to get what I need. Instead, their excuse was that I could take advantage of the sale priceâso what? Thatâs how sales work! They were more concerned about a few dollars than providing good customer service. And the cashier told me to come back after the sale!
The staff was dismissive and acted like I was trying to cheat them, even though I just wanted to exchange for something that fits my kids in time for our event. If I wait until after the sale, I wonât have what I need. Instead of working with me, they just kept repeating store policy like robots without any effort to accommodate.

The cologne is lightly colored while the scent is refreshingly vibrant and not too sweet; perfect for all-day use. The waist coat (Deep Purple): This is item is more beautiful than its digital version. The shell fabric is soft and smooth while the inner lining is beautifully stitched. The whole tailoring is surprisingly exquisite and old school with perfect seams and cuts. It doesn't look like it has been mass-produced. I must say it is worth the price. I do advice buyers to get one size bigger than their regular wear since the coat is worn over the shalwaar. Customer service: I bought both items on-line so this experience is regarding the customer service that I received over the phone. The waist coat that the store in Houston had was deficient and they offered me a different color. I declined and they went ahead and ordered the item from Pakistan and shipped it separately from the cologne. When I received it, I found out I needed a bigger size and all I had to do was to ship it back and they will send a replacement free of charge even though it was basically my fault that I did not choose the correct size.
