I have been through twice. First time I would take it as misunderstanding. I ordered a double roast beef, large crinkle fry, large Rootbeer and a regular roast beef without the bun and mozzarella sticks 4 piece. I received double roast beef, 1 regular roast beef w/bun ( did not order), a single roast beef without bun, 4 piece mozzarella sticks with 1 marina sauce and a large Rootbeer. Second time I ordered a double roast beef w/bun, a double roast beef wo/bun, large fry, 4 piece mozzarella sticks w/marinara sauce and a large Rootbeer. I checked my receipt at the window and mentioned that I only ordered a large fry but I was told the meal came with a small fry even though I ordered a large Rootbeer. When I'm guessing a shift manager came to the window telling me that I ordered a large fry at the end then I began to feel like it was too much of a hassle for them to fix the problem. Then he proceeded to slam the sliding window shut like I was the problem and not their misinterpretation of my order then never read it back. I received a double roast beef without bun, double roast beef with bun (multiple Arby's and horsey sauce that I did not ask for or asked if I i wanted), large crinkle fry (no ketchup), small crinkle fry (I did not order but had to pay for it anyway), 4 mozzarella sticks ( no marinade sauce as requested) and a large Rootbeer. This time I felt like I was more trouble and bother than they wanted to deal with. This was the worst customer service I received in the area. Please fix this perhaps the orders should be read back before...
Read moreThis place is a very lousy example of a fast food restaurant. I went on 08/26/23 and was stuck in the drive through for 15 minutes before being asked to pull forward. They claimed they had to make fresh food which generally I wouldn't complain about. I was never advised they needed time to make the food when ordering or when I pulled up to the window. It was after they had already collected my money so I proceeded to pull forward and wait another 15 minutes. After a 30 minute wait I went inside to see what the hold up was. Their employee said that it took 6 minutes per piece of chicken to fry meaning that it would take 18 minutes for 3 pieces there is absolutely no way they fry them one at a time it wouldn't be cost effective to even sell it at that point. They then advised my food would be done in another 5 to 6 minutes because now we're waiting on fresh French fries, at that point I asked to have my money back so I could feed my family elsewhere. Here we are now 08/28/23 still waiting on my refund for services never rendered even though they still took my money from my bank. I will not be returning to visit this Arby's location again and will advise everyone I know to stay away from...
Read more1 star rating is not necessarily for this location, but for the entire Arby's corporation/franchise chains. I'm not aware of the exact corporate structure, and I understand all their coupons say "at participating locations" but it seems no matter which coupon I ever receive in the mail, and no matter which Arby's I go to in my metro area, they can never find it in the system and the workers are consistently and needlessly hostile about it.
I would expect there to be some level of consistency enforced against franchises and different markets (at least within the same metro area) from corporate. But there appears to be none from my prolonged experience.
I love Arby's food and have been a long time patron. It has been a go to for me when traveling. But the apparent inability to use coupons received at my house in my own market just feels bad. I doubt this is the intention, but the customer experience on the coupon side of the business feels like a constant bait and switch.
Tonight was over a dozen times I've had this negative experience with the chains, and I'm considering letting it be my last...
