OF Mans First Disobedience, and the Fruit
Of that Forbidden Tree, whose mortal tast
Brought Death into the World, and all our woe,
With loss of Eden, till one greater Man
Restore us, and regain the blissful Seat,
Sing Heav'nly Muse, that on the secret top
Of Oreb, or of Sinai, didst inspire
That Shepherd, who first taught the chosen Seed,
In the Beginning how the Heav'ns and Earth
Rose out of Chaos: or if Sion Hill
Delight thee more, and Siloa's brook that flow'd
Fast by the Oracle of God; I thence
Invoke thy aid to my adventrous Song,
That with no middle flight intends to soar
Above th' Aonian Mount, while it pursues
Things unattempted yet in Prose or Rhime.
And chiefly Thou, O Spirit, that dost prefer
Before all Temples th' upright heart and pure,
Instruct me, for Thou know'st; Thou from the first
Wast present, and with mighty wings outspread
Dove-like satst brooding on the vast Abyss
And mad'st it pregnant: What in me is dark
Illumin, what is low raise and support;
That to the highth of this great Argument
I may assert Eternal Providence,
And justifie the wayes of God to men.
Say first, for Heav'n hides nothing from thy view
Nor the deep Tract of Hell, say first what cause
Mov'd our Grand Parents in that happy State,
Favour'd of Heav'n so highly, to fall off
From thir Creator, and transgress his Will
For one restraint, Lords of the World besides?
Who first seduc'd them to that foul revolt?
Th' infernal Serpent; he it was, whose guile
Stird up with Envy and Revenge, deceiv'd
The Mother of Mankind, what time his Pride
Had cast him out from Heav'n, with all his Host
Of Rebel Angels, by whose aid aspiring
To set himself in Glory above his Peers,
He trusted to have equal'd the most High,
If he oppos'd; and with ambitious aim
Against the Throne and Monarchy of God
Rais'd impious War in Heav'n and Battel proud
With vain attempt. Him the Almighty Power
Hurld headlong flaming from th' Ethereal Skie
With hideous ruine and combustion down
To bottomless perdition, there to dwell
In Adamantine Chains and penal Fire,
Who durst defie th' Omnipotent to Arms.
Nine times the Space that measures Day and Night
To mortal men, he with his horrid crew
Lay vanquisht, rowling in the fiery Gulfe
Confounded though immortal: But his doom
Reserv'd him to more wrath; for now the thought
Both of lost happiness and lasting pain
Torments him; round he throws his baleful eyes
That witness'd huge affliction and dismay
Mixt with obdurate pride and stedfast hate:
At once as far as Angels kenn he views
The dismal Situation waste and wilde,
A Dungeon horrible, on all sides round
As one great Furnace flam'd, yet from those flames
No light, but rather darkness visible
Serv'd onely to discover sights of woe,
Regions of sorrow, doleful shades, where peace
And rest can never dwell, hope never comes
That comes to all; but torture without end
Still urges, and a fiery Deluge, fed
With ever-burning Sulphur unconsum'd:
Such place Eternal Justice had prepar'd
For those rebellious, here thir prison ordained
In utter darkness, and thir portion set
As far remov'd from God and light of Heav'n
As from the Center thrice to th' utmost Pole.
O how unlike the place from whence they fell!
There the companions of his fall, o'rewhelm'd
With Floods and Whirlwinds of tempestuous fire,
He soon discerns, and weltring by his side
One next himself in power, and next in crime,
Long after known in Palestine, and nam'd
Beelzebub. To whom th' Arch-Enemy,
And thence in Heav'n call'd Satan, with bold words
Breaking the horrid...
Read moreThis used to be our favorite chipotle location. But after all the experiences we’ve been having, we will no longer be back. Every time we order takeout, the food is not hot, the orders are wrong or it’s someone else’s order in our bag, with our name on it. When I go back inside to get it corrected so the original person can get their food, I always speak with a very tall, blonde boy who treats the customers impolite. I tell him that this is someone else’s order and he says “yeah your order is the one I just put in the shelf.” Okay, so you KNOW you did something wrong and we’re too lazy to fix it before it become a problem? Cool. Grabbed that bag, looked inside, order was still wrong. So I emailed customer service, since he clearly can’t get anything right. Went here last night, we called, they said we could dine in. So we went. We got to the store, someone else asked if they could dine in a girl with black hair and partly shaved eyebrow said yes. Then my brother asked if we could dine in and she said yes and he asked where should we sit since the chairs were all up on the table. She said on the side by the windows; we had just finished eating and that very tall blonde boy came over and asked if the chairs were on our table and we said yes. He said “okay you guy are not suppose to be sitting in here. We are not open for dine in” I said we’ve asked 3 times now and that girl told us we could. “Well I’m not sure who told you that, but you guys can’t be in here.” So we got up to leave, we saw him chatting with the lady who said who could sit there and she acted like it wasn’t her that said anything. He came back over and said “oh you guys are fine it isn’t your fault.” Well now we are done eating, you just blamed your customers for the mistake your co-worker made 3 times now. So we’re leaving and will not be back. Not to mention, food is never fresh here, no more regular salsa even though it was hours before closing, didn’t have fajitas veggies, finally had lettuce this time around. I asked for light beans, she gave me a big spoonful, asked for double rice, she barely put any on. We get our orders wrong every time we come here. Whether is a bowl full a beans and double red hot sauce and nothing else or a burrito that’s wrapped poorly and only has rice and lettuce. Very poor customer service, cleanliness is not a thing here, ran out of the lids for the cups and never gave straws, just handed us our cups and walked away, as if we knew they were out? This place needs better trained employees and better customer service skills. And maybe you should focus on cleaning the restaurant and getting orders right before you scream at someone to put...
Read moreWent in today at 5pm, there was hardly any customers in the store eating and nobody in line so I though this would be the perfect time to order a Queso-Ritto(Secret menu item that I have always been able to order as long as its not busy). Employee behind the counter asked me what that was and how to make it, so I gladly explained the process to him. He then walked over to another employee to ask him how to make it and he took over telling me "it is no issue to make and that it would take a little bit of time". I said that it's fine I can wait. Upon waiting a customer came in behind me so I stood off to the side while he order his food, then the manager comes out and tells the employee " We can't make that Queso Ritto because of an issue with the price". I heard all of this while standing there patiently waiting, Employee tells me what the manager had said so I responded with "I do not mind paying the extra price" but I get told they can't make it. So I ordered a normal burrito instead. How is it that exactly 2 weeks ago I ordered the exact same thing and I paid for what I had ordered with no issues whatsoever.
Different products inside of other serving dishes which is very unorganized and an eye sore. What if I didn't want lettuce but wanted the cheese. Didn't know we mixed items together like that.
Not to mention there was only 1 cook, 2 people working the front line and about 5 people working the Online Ordering line with one of them being the manager.
This is officially the worst experience I have had this Chipotle, I think from now on since it an inconvenience for you to have me pay for WHAT I ORDER, I will no longer be a customer of Chipotle.
I strongly advise everyone to just make the extra drive and go to Pancheros instead. Better quality food, atmosphere is more appealing and you don't have issues paying for...
