Best Sushi around! Sapporo has the tastiest California Roll I have ever had. I come here weekly for lunch and sometimes for Happy Hour or dinner. I have visited at least 30 times. It is much tastier than Shanghai Bistro, cheaper, and much more flexible. I also love Dragon Pearl but the freshness doesn't compare and parking is terrible. One of my favorite lunch dishes at Sapporo is the Sushi Bento Box which comes with Miso Soup and the box has salad of iceberg, cucumber, tomato, and ginger dressing, lightly fried shu mai (shrimp dumplings), 3 pieces chef choice Nigiri Sushi, and California Roll, all for $10.95. Hibachi is done in the kitchen and my husband loves the Hibachi lunch. The staff are very versatile and accommodating and they will also make some Chinese dishes. If you don't see something on the menu and thought they should have it, ask and they probably will make it for you. My granddaughter asked for Chicken Fried Rice - no problem. The owners, wait staff, and Sushi chefs are all warm and friendly. They care about their customers. The atmosphere is one of quality and cleanliness. I can't recommend it...

However, our server definitely ruined the mood of our dine in experience and this was the first I believe we have been served by him and he left a bad impression. After ordering with my boyfriend, I had asked for something else but to be put on a separate tab because I was going to bring it home. He got super annoyed and sighed and even rolled his eyes. I was definitely taken aback by his reaction to something so little I had asked for. He never checked in with us and asked we needed anything else. Iāve read a review similar to this post and I think it is the same server, Kevin. You can tell he hates where he works and his customers. I really love the food so I will always keep eating here, but definitely donāt want him as a server again. Even if youāre having a bad day you never let it show to your customers!
