Arrived tonight around 6:40 p.m. tonight. Just picked up my daughter from Eau Claire. She wanted to dine here. Since she was mainly home to say goodbye to her dying dog, I did not tell her that I did not want to eat here since it has been well over a year and the service was horrible. I ordered the zucchini truffle mac and cheese, my daughter ordered pad thai with chicken. When I told the 2 young girls I w as kites yo dine in, I was told by Patience...or something like that, her name started with a "P" that I ....we ouod not be able to dine in due to no seats available. It was busy and noisy, however she did not say that to the 4 young ladies in front of me OR the family of 4 behind me. After politely informing her I had s table, Red flag #1. I watched as people who ordered after me received their food. 10 minutes later, our food arrived. No chicken in the pad thai. Red flag #2. So, I take it to the counter. No customers are waiting, I say, "excuse me, this is suppose to have chicken, no chicken. " Young girl looks at my receipt. Then this young girl with long dark hair wearing a baseball hat with a ponytail pulled through the opening in back, also with a resting b#@$ face calls out to me as she is looking over her shoulder, 'we will bring out the chicken." Red flag #3. Her back is still turned to me and I call out, "By that time our food will be cold." THEN the ONLY person who is older and has some sense of responsibility, puts the chicken in a to go bowl and gives it to the rude RBF girl. The RBF girl sets it down and said, "take this one." I heard someone say sorry, and I said, "this is going to affect your review." The older employee checked on us later saying "Oh good you got your chicken. " And that was it. Needless to say, there is s reason I have not been back. This is what you get when you let young kids run a restaurant. The girl with RBF was beyond rude. I even observed her when she was serving food. It was such a chore for her. Red flag #4. Then when she had a to go order she asked ONE person who was sitting near by if it was his order.. I WATCHED her gaze around shrug her shoulders, set the order on a table and walk away. Red flag #5. About 5 minutes later a mom with her son saw the bag, made sure it was their order and left. I WILL not be back...
Read moreThis location has been good in the past, but we had a seriously subpar experience this evening. We showed up around 7 o'clock and immediately the girl at the counter tried to discourage our ordering. "It will be 25 minutes for food....just letting you know." Well, we didn't mind waiting. Hey, places get slammed from time to time.... no big deal.
Well, the store was a total mess. Over half the tables were piled with dirty dishes and during our time there, maybe 40-45 minutes, no one bused. When our food came, after only about 10 minutes, my wife's Penne Rosa with chicken was over spiced, and my steak stroganoff, while it tasted just fine, was very small. I've ordered this dish 7 or 8 times before and this was maybe half the size of a regular.
We dined in, though we did so out of plastic container with plastic forks as all of their regular dishes and silverware were all piled up on the un-bused tables. It also didn't help that we felt a little guilty getting our food when we did as folks who had ordered well before us didn't get their food until 15 minutes after we did.
I know things can spiral out of control, especially if a store is understaffed... and if I had seen a manager trying to help out I would have cut them some more slack. I saw nothing...
Read moreWe have eaten at many Noodles across the country. This is by far the worst. Cashier that greeted us was very pleasant and polite, she gets a 5. After that...It was 145 Thursday afternoon, 6 tables were occupied, rest were not wiped off.. We waited 10 minutes for our food. When it arrived the meals were served in "to go" plastic bowls with the explanation "We are our of bowls". How the H can you be "out of bowls". How about running the dishwasher? My macaroni and cheese was cool enough the shredded cheese didn't melt. The macaroni bordered on crunchy. My daughters buttered noodles was also lukewarm warm. Husband's alfredo was at least warm with the chicken almost hot. The crew was standing around chatting between customer gaps of 5-15 minutes...plenty of time to wash bowls, tables or clean the bathroom. The last time we stopped and it was less then stellar we thought it was an off day...nope. We won't be back.I will also be contacting management and corporate...
