UPDATE - Called this morning for the manager Alicia and was told there is no Alicia that works there nor do they have a manager that works there. Alicia was the name given to us last night when we came into the store to pick up the order by the employees working. Employee today said I could not get a credit back to my card through the store because they don't have access to the online orders. I would have to go back to the online app for help. What kind of business is this???? I will be calling the corporate office to hugely complain and demand our money back. Placed order online with specific pick up being 45 minutes after order was placed since it was a large order. Called after placing the order to confirm the pick-up time was on the order. During the phone call, it became very apparent the person who answered the phone was not understanding my simple question to confirm the pick-up time was on the order. The person continued to repeat the items ordered. Then 10 minutes in my struggling conversation, I was told one of the items was sold out. I asked if a credit would be applied to my card since I made payment online. Employee could not understand my question on a credit being made. I asked if anyone was there who could understand my question. Employee said yes but then repeated my order to me. I finally realized I was losing the battle of the call. I kindly said we would figure this out when we picked up the order. Now, when arriving for our order, no one at the store knew how to credit our card for the item we placed but would not be receiving. We were very confused. How can a business not have at least one employee who knows all processes of the business working duringall operation hours? It doesn't make sense. As a manager, employees should be trained to help its customers. I was told a manager is only there during the day time hours. I will be calling tomorrow to ask for a refund and hope we get it. The employees were courteous to us but the communication barrier was very huge and...
Read moreWhere do I start. I really didn’t want to post this, because the pandemic and all, but reading reviews from the past couple years only tells me that this is an ongoing issue. I really hope one of these reviews sparks a change for this restaurant. I’m sure they are privately owned, but they HAVE to do better. For $22 we drove off with a kids meal chicken, a spicy chicken sandwich, a mac and cheese, and 3 beverages. What we ordered were those things PLUS a surf and turf basket including 2 cups of ranch for the chicken baskets. After I turned around when we noticed those items were missing, you would have thought I had stolen from them. I politely said that I was missing the surf and turf and that I would like the 2 ranch for the baskets. They brought me the surf only (yup, missing the turf) but no ranch. When I asked about the ranch, they 5 people at the window staring at me like I had stolen from them started at each other and chatted in Spanish for a few seconds then grabbed me 1 thing of ranch. When I asked for a second, because I had two baskets, I was huffed at and practically thrown another one. The sandwich was cold with one pickle round, the fries were cold and floppy, the chicken tenders were pretty good, and the shrimp, while way over breaded, was pretty warm so 🤷🏽♀️ We picked that location because we reside in Woodbury. My daughter and I have been excited to try Popeyes for the first time for at least a month now, since my husband has a poultry allergy, and this was a huge letdown. Do better Hudson, Popeyes. I’ll try another location again, but sad...
Read moreI had never been to a Popeye's restaurant before. And I had no idea what to expect but I ordered chicken fingers riblets and shrimp and it came with coleslaw and beans only there were no beans. But that was fine with me because I prefer. But I had no idea how spicy the food was. I'm just really glad my girlfriend tried to shrimp before me. Her mouth was on fire and peeled the batter off my shrimp so I didn't get that fire. Otherwise I would have had a heart burn all night. But that's just me I can't eat spicy food. There probably should have been a warning about it but because I am not familiar with the restaurant I don't know. When we were placing our drive-through order the person at the register couldn't understand us and we couldn't understand him so there was a problem with that when we pulled around to pay and pick up our order it was even worse communication. He went to get someone who could speak better English but it wasn't much better. I just think that with this restaurant being in Minnesota that they should have someone working in the public that can communicate with people in that area. So I have to say I was very disappointed. Because we couldn't get what we wanted because we couldn't understand. And when it's a restaurant I've never been to before and I'm not familiar with the menu I really need...
