I have been coming to this location for the better part of 6 years but, over the past few months, I have had a few things that has me deciding to take my business to the location across the highway or the Starbucks two blocks away. This morning, I went through the drive-thru, per usual. For the past couple of months, they have quit telling me my point balance. It is weird I have to ask but, not worth complaining about until today. When I asked, she told me she was already out of that part and I can look up my points on the app. I do not have the app. I asked her if I had a free drink, she told me I would have to look that up on the app. So basically, that is not their job and I should have to look online before I get there to know something that comes up on their computer to take my order. Generally, I would just get over it but again, past couple of months have been different. Last month on January 14th, (my birthday and a coworkers last day) I had placed a $50+ order online for pick-up at 8 AM. I walked in about 10 minutes early. The girl didn't bother to look up from the paper she was staring at and asked if I could help her. I told her I was there to pick up the order I placed the night before. Without looking at me, let alone asking for a name, etc. she turns and points to the back and tells me that's were I need to pick up any orders. Being early, I waited 10 mins. Left to my car for another 5 and came back in and waited 10 mins more. Finally, another girl working in the drive-thru asked if I had been waiting. I told her I had a $50 order. They told me to go to the location across the street because it was not there. Being flustered, I just went, showed the location across the highway the receipt, they told me that I was at the right location to begin with. I walked in, showed them my receipt and then they made my order. This order was for my office. I was 10 minutes late to work and half of the office had to leave for their appointments, without the breakfast I promised them. I wish I remember her name but, both of these occurrences were with a thin long, dark haired girl, that I only presume is the manager since in the first occurrence, she was the one the girl referred to fix the situation. I would presume she is not the manager since she didn't bother to acknowledge me for my large order and is the one that basically didn't need to look up my points because there's an app. My family and I spend around $200-400/mo. at this location and we will be boycotting this location for a couple of months. Hopefully when (if) we start coming back in the summer, these things...
Read moreMe and my friends were going through the drive through and I have worked at caribou so I know how everything is made. My friend said we had 2 different orders. She order first and got a vanilla shaker. Then the lady at the window said you can pull forward. But we told her that there was 2 orders. And then we said we had another order. And she said oh. And took a minute to say what’s the phone number for it. We gave her the phone number and then she was rushing us order faster when all we had was 3 drinking in total. The lady at the window for got my friends shaker. And must have clicked it off the screen. Because she order first. Then we waited for 5 minutes to get her drink. And after waiting 5 minutes the cup was filled half way with foam. I shaker should be made what the espresso and then fill the cup with ice then put in a shaker. To be shaken I have never seen from any other caribou nor mad any shaker like that with that much foam. Then when I went to ask them to re make it they just gave me that same thing. And one of the girls working was like it’s just going to look the same and has so much attitude with it. The service was so bad I started to get really frustrated because I didn’t do anything wrong to them except ask them to remake it. I understand they can be busy but you shouldn’t treat people like that. Supper...
Read moreI experienced a weird interaction today at the Caribou on 2360 Badger Dr Suite in Hudson Wi. I gave the girl serving coffee a 20 dollar bill for my order this evening. I wanted to pay with cash so I could get change for a tip. She took the 20 dollar bill and put it up towards the light on the ceiling and looked at it for at least 5 minutes. After this long time, she called her coworker over and proceeded to speak loudly " hey can you come and look at this bill to make sure its real". I felt so singled out and embarrassed; especially since l come to this coffee shop all the time. After this long time of examining my $20 bill, I offered to pay with my card, but she seemed reluctant and just took my money. The whole experience was awkward and uncomfortable. I work night shifts as a nurse and thought for a moment that maybe I was just tired and reading more into this, but I shared my experience with my coworkers and they agree that I needed to bring this to your attention. Maybe you could purchase a pen to verify the money and not put customers in an...
