The Subhouse — Restaurant in Hudson

I wish I could give 0 stars! Absolutely ridiculous and rude. Horrible customer service. Order a warp to go SPECIFICALLY SAID NO LETTUCE NO TOMATO NO ONION but yet it came full of that with scraps of chicken. I called and was told if I can bring back my receipt they will refund because they do not know what card was mine to refund. I stated that I had it right here and could provide it but then THE OWNER (who flat out blamed whoever took the order) said well I can remake something off of the menu or issue a gift card. I said no I do not want to eat our food so I want my money back. I was then told "well when you return something to Target do they give you your money back? No, they give you a gift card" Ummm no they don't when you have a receipt you get your money but what does that have to do with anything?! I said well I want my money back and she continued to say "well I am offering those 2 options, I cannot give your money back" (but you could just a minute ago?) I asked if she was the manager and she replied with "I AM THE OWNER!" I hope that she is not truly the owner because that just horrible customer service and to be coming from the OWNER is absurd. So because you messed up my food and it had barely anything in it besides cheap lettuce, you REFUSE to refund my money.....2 seconds after saying you can refund with a receipt?...

Terrible sub sandwich. Ordered two avocado turkey subs on the sunflower seed bread, but instead got limp/flattened multi grain bread. One of the sandwiches actually had all of the ingredients described by the menu, but the other was missing tomato and looked like someone either stepped or sat on it and just threw it together. One half of the sandwich had like a 1x1 inch square of cheese and a thin slice of turkey with a few sprouts and pieces of lettuce. The avocado was also slightly oxidized/brown. Not happy. On the plus, the gentleman I spoke with offered to give me a free sub tomorrow. This experience was a surprise as the last subs we had from this place were pretty good. Not sure if I can recommend this place. I have had much better and cheaper subs from Subway. The owner needs to have a chat with their employees about improving the quality of their products. They do have the ingredients, just not the motivation to make decent...

Went in for a quick lunch break, I decided to get food here because I had a local coupon. I was time limited so I was a bit Leary about going to get the sub. A few notes. There is no free parking in Hudson (or if there was, I completely missed it) so the best parking is in the strip mall parking lot a few blocks south. You can order online (or classic delivery) if you’re in a time crunch and it’s on a shelf right as you walk in. I ordered a four meat sub and made some of my own modifications, the sun was made very quickly which I was very happy about. Subs were made high quality, very thick with meat and cheese (the goods) but also still a proportional amount of other ingredients. Staff was very friendly and I could tell that the staff actually cared about their jobs and the quality they were sending out the shop.
