I’ve been going to different locations of Dimassi’s since 2012, they’re salads, fresh pita and roasted chicken kept me trying them when the price was 8.99 per lunch buffet. I went this time after a long day, sat down and ate my usuals, it was good even though the pita wasn’t fresh, it was a slow time of the day and it made sense. Then I see they have lamb shanks upon request, I thought cool because I hate lamb and I don’t want to be charged for a luxury dish I didn’t even eat. It was 4pm. Lamb belongs to dinner hours. While I was still eating two men, a Caucasian in his 60’s and another younger man went to lay at the register, I heard him say “you can’t charge him dinner price, he didn’t even eat lamb, I did” and then they continued without any further discussion. Their price was adjusted by his request. It’s obvious when someone didn’t eat lamb because to request it, you ring a bell. When I went to pay for my quick late lunch they charged me dinner price, I mentioned respectfully I hadn’t had dinner price and she said I came at lunch hours. I paid $20 for food that was sitting there. For that price I could have gone to Chuy’s and watch my freshly made sizzling fajitas cooking at the moment. I could have eaten at a restaurant. For a buffet plate to cost 20 it has to be like Tokyo One used to be before the pandemic, seafood and a cook standing in front of every item making sure of freshness and service. I go to a location of Dimassi’s in Westheimer that has a drive through and they make a big fresh shawarma with hot French fries and a drink for 8.99. Lost a client

The restaurant was very clean. The people were also very nice to me and my party. Very spacious. You can sit wherever you want. You pay after. This was my first experience drinking rose water. I’m a huge fan of roses. But I never consumed one. It was extremely delicious and tasted how you would think a dose would taste. But it’s very flavorful and strong. The food was fresh. All kinds of hummus and fresh hot pita bread. So many delicious salads to choose from. Nice sweets. I especially loved the vanilla ice cream. It was very sweet and creamy. The baklava was also very good. So many amazing salads to choose from. My favorite was the baked fish. My party also really enjoyed the lamb and chicken as well. The lemonade was very good too. Everything was fresh and good quality of food. I would definitely return. I didn’t take many pictures because I was too busy stuffing my face. But a great spot for all you can eat.

Just awful. Trashy parking lot outside with a huge cockroach 🪳 outside by front door when I was coming in and it was there when I left. Pita bread is not warm at all, grilled chicken breast was cold and tough, stuffed grape leaves were cold and hard ground beef inside. Front door glass was VERY dirty, there was several AC condensation leaks through restaurant and “caution signs” located by them , which is ok, but one person walked straight into them knocking them down, no management around anywhere checking on anything and sure enough, next immediate person walked on the signs and slipped and almost fell. My used plates sat on my table the entire time. d. Music and overall mood of the restaurant was depressing. Happy Arabic music would be better suited. Restaurant appears exhausted and not very clean. They put soooo much food out at once that the top mound of all schaffing dishes the food is cold.

Ok so let me start by saying that I'm a long time Dimassi's customer. I have been going to Dimassi's since the first one opened up on Westheimer way back when they only served half the items they do now. Also back when there was a location on Katy freeway (not the one in Katy but more east). I've always loved this place. The two best locations in my opinion are the one on Tomball Pkwy and the one on Kirby. Those two are outstanding. My partner and I only go out to eat one time a week as we're on a limited income due to medical issues I'm having. So last week we decided to test out one of the few locations we haven't been to-the new one on east freeway. Like I stated in a review I posted on it, beautiful location and decor. But the food was terrible. I didn't get my Dimassi's "fix". However, I still gave the location 5 stars only because I love Dimassi's. So since I didn't get what I was expecting from that visit, the following weekend (today) we decided to try the one in Humble. And once again...disappointment. It's pretty much like a repeat of the one on east freeway except with a much smaller amount of foods to choose from (tiny buffet compared to others. Half is the salad bar). The one good thing is atleast no flies were coming out of the salad. But the food is bland, dry and just not worth the price or time. I got two plates of food (one salad and one hot) and as you can see, I've left most of it. It's just not up to my standards in quality. I notice this place has great reviews. Reader, if you're reading this and you think this place is good, please, I urge you...go to the ones on Tomball pkwy, Kirby, Westheimer, Richmond or even the one in Katy. They are on another level. This location is gross and I let the one on east freeway slide and gave them 5 stars still. But not this one and not today. This is twice in a row. As you can see, I served two plates and I'm done. Am not eating most of what I served. Dimassi's....help this location and the one on east freeway. And also, turn up your ac it's hot as...

I've frequented Dimassi's Mediterranean Buffet multiple times, and every visit continues to be a gratifying culinary experience. What truly stands out about Dimassi’s is its consistently fresh and flavorful food that never fails to impress.

Their rice dishes are meticulously prepared, ensuring a palatable experience with each spoonful. They strike a perfect balance between the grain's inherent flavor and the complementary spices, making it an exceptional choice among the varied offerings.

Being a fan of gyros, I can confidently say that Dimassi's serves one of the best I've ever had. The tender and well-seasoned meat and fresh vegetables, makes for a mouthwatering treat that leaves you longing for more.

A special mention must go to their lamb shanks, which are a weekend exclusive. Succulent, tender, and rich in flavor, they are the epitome of delightful Mediterranean cooking. It's worth planning your visit over the weekend just to savor this delectable dish.

Dimassi's kababs don't fall short either. They are well-marinated, perfectly grilled, and extremely tasty, providing an excellent meaty bite. Meanwhile, the sweet potatoes serve as a great vegetarian alternative, with their delightful sweetness offering a nice contrast to the other savory dishes.

While the ambiance of the location is fairly standard and nothing out of the ordinary, it does not take away from the overall dining experience. It maintains a certain comfort level, allowing you to focus on the feast in front of you.

In conclusion, Dimassi’s Mediterranean Buffet excels in delivering authentic, flavorsome, and high-quality Mediterranean cuisine. If you're in search of a Mediterranean food oasis, look no further. Dimassi's should be at the top...

DiMassi's has been a regular place for me since I moved to Houston. I've visited several locations, but probably go to the one in Humble most frequently. The food is consistently good, especially if you're there during peak hours. When the food comes out fresh, it's the absolute best!

As with any buffet, some items are less popular and might be on the line longer before a fresh batch is made. But in my experience, I've never had anything here that seemed off or not fresh. Sometimes the pita bread is a bit dry, but last time we visited it was so good and freshly baked!

The variety of hummus, salads, vegetables, sauces/condiments, and meats is really impressive. You can even get a fresh lamb shank upon request! I had never tried that on my prior visits, but it was fantastic!

My favorite items are the baba ghanoush, roasted cauliflower, and beef kebabs. And surprisingly, they make incredible pizza that is frequently overlooked by people because it's just pizza... but it's so good! And be sure to ask for the lamb shank!

The dessert options are simple, but really a nice way to finish off the meal. The baklava is nice, and there are a couple other baked goods which I really enjoy but not sure what they're called. They have a sweet honey drizzle that really adds just a hint of sweetness and moisture to the shortbread-like cake.

This place is fantastic for large groups too, as it has plenty of seating. The Humble location I think has the largest dining room, but seems less busy than the smaller Woodlands location. I haven't been to the Willowbrook location since it moved buildings. But at least for Humble, it's one of my favorite places to go and guaranteed you'll be filled up and satisfied...
