I want to start off this post by saying that I love Panera bread, like love Panera bread. However after my experience at this Panera bread, I will never.... NEVER come back again. First, they lady in front of my order 2 dozen bagels, they girl behind the counter proceeded to put them in to bags. Filled them to the brim. The lady asked for a bag with handles to obviously carry both the bags, and she responded "let me see" as if it was so much trouble for here to pull out a bag to make it easier for the lady to carry her purchase.
Next I order my meal... the same meal I order all the time at every Panera bread I have been to across the country. Thai chicken salad, french onion soup and sliced apples. The ONLY request I make is to filter out the onions. It's NEVER been an issue. I sit down, and this young, but very rude lady puts the plate on the table, and said, "we can't filter out the onions", the literally turns around. Doesn't wait for a response, doesn't apologize... nothing. Oh, and my apples were not sliced.
I walk back up to the counter. Explain that this has never been and issues before, and the soup itself is actually cold. One girl explains that they do not have a strainer, while another girl at the same time says it's the best we can do with a very sarcastic grin. I simply ask them to at the very least heat it up.
The same girl with long brown hair comes back with the tray, literally slams is down... walks away. I even said thank you, and she didn't even respond.
I was so furious/upset, I decided to write this note right away as I eat my awful meal. Oh, and in the midst or writing this, another table next to me got their order wrong as well... but I guess there's nothing else they can do.
Don't settle for mediocrity Panera... it's...
Read moreVisited this location tonight and was highly disappointed with the service and establishment. We have visited this particular Panera many times over the last few years however, our last few trips have been nothing but disappointment. Tonight, my mother and I walked in for dinner and waited about three minutes before a cashier decided to come out of the back and help us, I would also like to say the only reason the cashier came out of the back was because I started yelling “EXCUSE ME, EXCUSE ME” so we could place our order. Had I not done this, I probably would have stood there for an additional five minutes before anyone noticed us and the customers behind us. I looked over at the baked goods and there were flies all over them. Once we finally got our order placed, we went to go look for a table, the floor was filthy with food, straw wrappers, and trash from the day. Not one single table was clean we had to wipe down our own table with wipes that we luckily had on hand. I went to go get drinks, and to my surprise there was a pool of different liquid’s at the drink station on the counter with lids floating in them. By the time we got our food we were completely disgusted with the restaurant. We quickly tried to eat our food, and the food was horrible. We didn’t even end up finishing it and not for nothing for the mediocre food that you are given it’s not cheap. We will never visit this or another Panera Bread again, the lack of accountability to keep the restaurant clean...
Read moreArriving at 12:45 the line was long, so I went to the kiosk. Finishing up my order, I realized that there were no pager devices at any of the 3 kiosks. The two people at the others had not gotten that far yet.
I asked an employee standing right across a low glass partition from me if we could get some pagers so we could complete the requests and not have to get in line. He was standing, looking out the door, nothing in his hands. He looked straight at me and said he was a baker, that it wasn't "up to him" to get them, "Just go to the register".
The lady beside me did, and interrupted a transaction and the employee said she would, and after that transaction left a line of people waiting to do it.
I had to wait on a place to sit. There were at least 8 tables that had 1 person with no food (3 had empty drink cups) who were on tablets or computers.
There was one table for 6 with two schoolteachers talking, there kids had left the large table, were taking up two small ones. They were there when I arrived, not eating, and there when I left, 30 minutes later.
My salad was ordered with extra dressing, came with none. I asked for "a couple" when the server came back by. He came back later with one small one, less than half full.
The only employee I ever saw smile was a young woman in a dark red shirt, some kind of manager who was taking orders, delivering food, doing all she could.
I love Panera, won't...
