Wasted half an hour waiting for clothes to be looked at that weren't taken due to being "summer clothes" even though I had a sweater in my bag that was name brand and in perfect condition. Girls were rude, there was no where to sit except for one small bench and they didn't bother a skinny girl sitting on the counter display but bothered me and my husband once we set down and not to mention I'm 7 months pregnant. Screw this place! PSA - DO NOT COME HERE IF YOUR A MORE CURVY WOMAN!!!!
RESPONSE Your manager and I never acknowledged that there was signs. She just told us to not sit on your "hollow window base" and being respectful I replied that I was pregnant and well obviously I need somewhere to sit as well as my husband and all she said was oh it's okay you gladly can sit on the bench... as we did and she walked off. My husband was with me to know that as well.
When I walked into your store there was people sitting on your "hollow window base" If it was for my "safety" then I suggest anyone sitting on the "hollow window base" have something said to them not who your manager/employees pick and choose who to say it to.
I was told there would be a 2 hour wait if I left the store...if i stayed it would be about 35 mins. Either way sucked! So I chose to stay. I'm pregnant...pregnant or not if I'm waiting that long for clothes to be looked at (which isn't that hard to do I would think if their so trained and have certain clothes their looking for) a "stool" for a 2 hour wait is clearly not caring about customers! Have more than one stool for your customers spending lots of money here. Customers also were wanting to try shoes on and couldn't because I had the stool your store offered. I'm not standing for 2 hours especially after finding nothing in your store. Not to mention my husband had to stand there also. Definitely not customer service! ( I think you could agree as well.)
I had name brand crop tops, skirts and dresses. My sweater was from old navy and I know your store has clothes from them in your store...sounds likes to me your store only wants name brand high class stuff sizes 0-5. Sorry not sorry!
Considering your store a thrift/consignment store as Facebook says it is it isn't...as I have read reviews from this store not taking certain sizes and name brands...
Read moreI have had two horrible experiences with this store in Huntersville. I purchased a few items last week for Mother's Day and when I was checking out I asked the cashier if the items didn't fit if I could return them. He said yes I could but it had to be in 7 days and I had to have my receipt and he would give me store credit. I told him I was worried that the shoes I bought my wife might not fit. Anyway, today I went by and tried to return the shoes. The girl was initially polite and asked for the receipt which I gave her. She then said the shoes didn't have the tag. I said I don't know where it is. She said she would not return them due to this. I said listen, I specifically asked the male cashier when I purchased these shoes if I could return them. He never said anything to me that day other than to have my receipt which I did. She then proceeded to say look at the fine print and it's there. I said for one I wasn't told that and secondly who is looking at the fine print of a receipt? I asked to speak to the owner which she said is never there and I could speak to a manager. Another young woman came to the desk and was very very rude. She basically told me to pound salt. I said I needed to talk to her boss or the owner. She said she can have her call me. I said listen, I have purchased a lot of stuff over the years here. I could not believe she wouldn't do the right thing and take these $18 shoes back into her inventory and allow me to find a pair that actually fit my wife. I picked the wrong size. Plus I said, I can go home and search for the tag, but why would you waste my time doing that over these shoes that clearly were purchased here. You have the record on your computer plus my receipt... Ridiculous. I wouldn't shop here again if they paid me to. I didn't write a negative response the last time they treated me like this. Whomever the owner of this store needs to realize who she has running it. You can't piss off a customer who regularly does business with you. I now am stuck with a pair of shoes that don't fit my wife and this company could care less.... BTW, I own two businesses and if one of my managers or employees treated my customers like that it would cost...
Read moreI love the concept of this store. They sell good quality clothes, nothing raggedy. I have not had much luck finding clothes that I like here, but that's more to do with my style and the options. It's not like a regular store where you can just try the same piece in a different size. You have to get lucky that they have the size and style that you like. But I like the sustainable model, keeps clothes out of a landfill.
The shop is cute, well-organized. Just men and women's, no kids clothes. Also has shoes and accessories. I purchased a great purse here for a great price.
I've never sold clothes.
My husband shops here before going to any other store whenever he's looking for something in particular. Today he got two pullover sweaters for like $15 each.
The dressing room mirrors aren't flattering. I always look bigger around the hips here. Maybe my home mirror is lying to me, but the wide mirrors here have caused me to put clothes back because it was so unflattering.
Also, there a distinct smell..they either use a cleaner or perfume in the entire store, so we always wash our purchases when we get home to get rid of the smell.
I recommend this place if you like shopping and are okay with taking a chance at whether or not they'll...
