I've been going to Starbucks around the country for over 20 years, and the last ten I go with my family often. This is the first timeI've had such a negative experience.
My husband and myself and my 3 kids went to this Starbucks at noon on a Saturday. It was very crowded, nearly every table was taken and there were customers waiting for their orders at the counter. There were many conversations going on and it was quite loud in there (being a Saturday at lunch near Target). My husband had my 12 month old on his lap and she squealed several times over the ten min period while we were waiting for our food and drinks. She is 1, doesn't walk or climb or talk. The manager at the time, Taylor, came up to our table and said is there a problem?? She said she had other customers there and we were too loud. It was crowded and loud in there already! I felt so singled out and isolated because we happen to be a family.
I go to the Gilead Starbucks more than once weekly, and they have always been pleasant. The Knockando location was honestly the only time I've witnessed an employee correct a family who was doing nothing wrong. I thought one of Starbucks tenants was inclusion. Most definitely exclusion here. So...
Read moreProbably the worst Starbucks I have ever visited. Idk who taught them how to make the drinks but they are always horrible and never taste like any other Starbucks. They also just pick and choose pricing when they "don't have the button". Today for instance in ordered a Irish Cream Cold Brew and they told me they were out because it was seasonal which is fine and I said I'll take the regular vanilla cream instead. She rang me up and it was over $5 and when I questioned her (I've ordered that exact drink multiple times at $4 something) another girl said well if we don't have the button we just add stuff. Why don't they have a button for a standard drink!? And then I said well it's not fair I have to pay more so they rang in something similar but didn't tell the girl making it so my drink was still wrong. I keep hoping this location will get better but seeing Santa seems more plausible at this point. If you have a choice go elsewhere and save yourself the money...
Read moreService is always good when I come in for mobile orders but today I decided to do a couple of hours of work and the employees are really loud/borderline obnoxious. Maybe its the acoustics of this building but it looks to be laid out just like every other Starbucks I have been in. THey're just yelling back and forth (in a joking manner) from one end of the bar to the other, joking about someone's birthday, etc. Hopefully the manager can check which employees were working on 5/10/18 at 5:15 PM and do a little coaching. For the most part they were all nice and helpful but I was also trying to work (like every other person in here right now) and we can barely hear ourselves think. It's actually so loud that I cant even hear the music playing in the store....they're actually MUCH louder than the coffee grinder, if that puts it into perspective. Hope this helps others have a better experience...
