I came to this Crumbl (Bella Terra location) at 5:30 PM on July 15 to buy my 7-year-old daughter a cookie as a little treat. What we got instead was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had at any dessert shop. First of all, no one was even at the front counter when we walked in. We waited, looked around — nothing. No “hello,” no smile, not even eye contact. When someone finally did show up, they acted like we were annoying them just by being there. The attitude was cold, dismissive, and borderline rude. It felt like they thought they were doing us a favor by even acknowledging our existence. The energy in that place was off. Everyone inside was being treated like they were asking for free handouts — not paying customers buying overpriced cookies. Speaking of which, the cookies were not worth the money at all. We tried a couple, and my daughter, who normally loves sweets, said they “taste like mud.” She’s seven years old, and even she knew something was off. That says a lot.

Another customer next to me actually leaned over and said, “Yeah, this place used to be good. I’m not coming back either.” So it wasn’t just us. That whole store needs a reset — better staff, better training, and a reminder that basic respect and hospitality go a long way.

Update to my review - their BS please contact customer service reply was nothing more than the same "this is store policy" answer.

Basically Crumbl is stating that the pre-order ability on the app does not guarantee you any flavor of cookie. It only guarantees you to skip the line. I got this same line from the store manager at Bella Terra today as well.

What I am trying to get through their heads is this is not stated anywhere when preordering online. So Crumbl basically will take your money in hopes that they MIGHT be able to fulfill your order. If they cannot and you show up they will either give you another flavor of cookie or refund you. AGAIN, this completely negates the reason for making a preorder and paying for it ahead of time!

So Crumbl if you are listening - all I am saying is you have an obligation to your customers to state that preorders are nothing but skipping the line.

I love Crumbl Cookies! So when I saw they were opening a location super close to me I was excited. I’d normally have to drive out to Costa Mesa for some Crumbl cookies but now it’s only a few minutes away!

I love that they change their menu every week so the flavors offered are always rotating. Gives customers the opportunity to try many different flavors without feeling overwhelmed by a huge menu. My family and I usually get their 4 pack for whatever the new flavors are that week so we can have a little taste of them all. $4 is a bit steep but I think they’re worth it, they are large cookies so it’s not like you’re overpaying for a standard size cookie.

Customer service at this location was great! They all greeted us upon walking inside. We placed our order at their kiosk and waited no longer than maybe 5 minutes for our cookies to be ready! Everything is super fresh and flavorful, I highly recommend Crumbl.
