First review of 2024! Came to Snooze bright and early for breakfast on a Sunday morning. We wanted to make sure we beat the weekend rush so we arrived at 7am. Surprisingly there was only one other customer, I was half expecting there to be a decent amount of people wanting to try their breakfast since they opened not too long ago.
I’ve been to the location in San Diego before and it was super packed there so I thought it would be the same here in OC. But we were seated right away so definitely no complaints there!
There were a bunch of employees just standing around chatting with each other, it looked like they over scheduled. Either that or they really do get busy and we happened to come at the perfect time when no one was there. Either way, we got great service since our waiter had no other tables. He explained to us their pancake of the day which was basically a blueberry pancake.
My husband ordered the spuds deluxe with sausage and cheese. I opted for their classic eggs Benedict. I remembered getting a Benedict trio from the SD location so I knew it was good from previous experience.
The food did not disappoint! My sister and I got the same order and we were both happy with it. Their eggs were just the perfect amount of runny and the hollandaise sauce was tasty! Not too lemony. My husband said he liked his meal as well but would have enjoyed more cheese.
Overall this is a great option for breakfast if you’re looking for one in the OC area. Make sure to arrive early if you want to...

If breakfast were an Olympic sport, Snooze would take home the gold, the silver, AND the complimentary side of bacon.
Let me tell you, this place is so good it makes me consider setting an alarm on a weekend—which is saying a lot because I usually only wake up before 10am if my house is on fire or there's a mimosa involved. Spoiler alert: Snooze has mimosas and food that makes angels weep.
Now let’s talk about the real MVPs: the staff. Stephanie? An actual ray of sunshine in human form. Alec? Probably moonlights as a brunch wizard, because how else does someone make my arnold palmers and day feel so good. Jasmine is the type of person who could organize world peace while refilling your OJ. And Maria? I’m 90% sure she was sent by the breakfast gods to make sure your day starts off better than a surprise snow day as a kid.
The food? Unreal. Fluffy gluten free pancakes so good I briefly considered proposing to them. Eggs Benedict that made me question every other life choice. Even the toast had personality.
Snooze isn’t just a breakfast place. It’s a morning experience. 10/10, would hit snooze on life just to...
Read moreI first learned about Snooze in Denver and fell in love with it! My partner and I have been going to snooze for about three years, so we were very excited to see that there's a few here as well! The food tasted exactly like we're used to. I almost always get the Bountiful Buddha Bowl, it's filled with so many yummy vegetables and seasoned really well. Everything in the dish compliments each other, leading to a very complex flavor profile. On top of being delicious, it's a decent portion and is fairly low calorie. The staff was very welcoming and nice. The restaurant itself is a little cramped, which can make it a bit uncomfortable during the busier days/hours, but the food really makes up for it! The prices are a bit much for some of the dishes, especially considering some of the portions are a lot smaller, but I still think the taste is well worth it. One of my favorite dishes is the Pork Belly egg Benedict, which is a bit on the smaller side, expensive side, and high calorie side haha, but the taste is...
