Surf city hookah lounge really upgraded there environment from before, it's no longer dark or unwelcoming, its more relaxed and the music is more relaxing then most hookah lounges and its more of a place to come smoke and socialize. While the environment of this place upgraded, the staff also is more generous they come by every 10-15 min to make sure that your hookah is going good if not will fix it free of charge, and they just want to make sure you leave happy, i come by during the week where its not too busy and the music is more calmer then the weekends. My wife and I are both very picky about our hookah and hookah and experience… every place we spend significant time we have a hookah establishment where we hang out, and surf city is our home away from home whenever we are visiting anywhere in the oc. Everyone has kind of already said what there is to be said about the staff - extremely friendly and welcoming. what can i say.. i come here at least a few times a week with all my friends (we vary in age between 18 to about 22) best hookah bar i have ever been to. the owner sammy is the man, he always makes us a special bowl for me and all my friends. they have 10 dollar mon and wed so those are the days to really get your bang for your buck. really not too crowded unless its on a weekend. the waitresses and coal guys are all super chill and actually talk and smoke with us. hands down best hookah, smoke, people, atmosphere, music (they have 2 djs) and prices in all of socal check it out for yourself you...
