In-N-Out Burger — Restaurant in Huntington Park

Went here after visiting a local business in the area. I was starving and figured I could wait 30 Mins. Started off in the parking of Superior market parking lot, it was a hassles to get into the actual lane. Once in the lane, the workers taking your order two you which lane to pull into. They barricade the lanes so you can’t move. We were split into three lanes, waiting game began. 38mins later our lane was still not moving. They put a barricade on the front of the lines to only allow only one lane to go through drive through at a time. I see other cars leaving out of the lanes because it’s been more than 45mins at this time. Our lane was finally opened up and we start moving. Yay, my stomach is rumbling by this time and my poor kids starved. Waiting another 10 mins and we are at a standstill yet again. I decide I can’t wait anymore, 6 cars still in front of me and not moving.

I call customer service to inform them of the outrageous wait time. My local In-N-Out it always under 30mins even on a crowded day. They informed me that 40 mins is crazy to get food. I tell them that I would have been ok with 40 mins should I had gotten my food but I didn’t make it to the window after almost an hour. I have kids in the car and they needed something 30 mins ago. Thanks goodness for snacks and water.

I can’t say anything about the food since I never received anything. I couldn’t wait longer. First chance I got I left. Customer service agent Danny made up for it. That was not my reason for calling but it was a nice gesture. I love In-N-Out just not...

On the surface, this spot is just a good burger joint. Cold crunchy iceberg lettuce and juicy tomatoes, sour and sweet special sauce with diced pickles and onions, hot meat and cheese melting into each other into a harmony of salty umami all in between two lightly-toasted mustard-covered buns. Oh, and a telltale sign that someone is a transplant is if the fries are a topic of debate. I've personally grown to appreciate the hard work that goes into each fry. Watching the workers savagely pump their arms while processing entire potatoes in seconds with that primitive machine makes me feel amazing as I comfortably sit and stuff my face. This place does fast food, but it does it fresh. Fresh fast food is the oxymoron that is In-N-Out. But it's not just the food that we're getting and why there's a line literally every single time I've ever been at an In-N-Out (does move fas though), it's really the consistency. That's what you're really getting. In-N-Out has mastered the art of consistently delivering a pleasant experience. It never fails. This place is so consistent that whenever I eat here, I can reflect on my growth as a person throughout the years. Every double-double is like a ring on a tree trunk. Like a chapter in the book of my ever changing life which anchors me as the food faithfully remains the same. Came in today 3/11/23, Dayanna Ra. took my order and was able to communicate with me in spanish throughout my order. My order was finalized at 8:46pm. Took a seat as I was waiting for my order, minutes pass by and my number was not being called for. I was number 60 and by the time I go up to ask they are on number 80. I go up to ask if my order is ready, they look at me with confusion as if they didn’t understand me. I go back to the worker that attended me, Dayanna Ra. and she said she didn’t understand what I was saying when I made a complaint about my order. How did Dayanna understand me when I ordered but when I make a complaint she said she didn’t speak Spanish, she looked at her coworkers acting clueless of what I was saying and then ignored me and continued to take orders. Another worker came by and attended me, but he said he didn’t speak Spanish as well so he was just looking at me confused with what I was saying. Another worker comes by and was finally able to attend me, he then took my receipt, and went to the back looking for my order but my order was lost and nowhere to be found, he then used my receipt to make my order afterwards. By the time I received my order it was 9:26pm, a 40 minute wait for 4 burgers seemed absurd and...
