This modest, unassuming eatery pleasantly surprised both me & my impossible-to-please Boomer dad. It was a new place for us so we ordered the basics without any expectations. He ordered the Chilaquiles and I the Pancake Combo. Folks, everything about our experience exceeded our expectations. My dad's chilaquiles prompted praise and a smile from a man who rarely does neither. The sauce was clearly homemade & perfectly seasoned. The tortilla chips had a hint of crunch. The refried beans were light & creamy, freshly smashed. No cheese topper required for flavor enhancement! My pancakes, eggs & sausage were average. However, those potatoes were what my little heart craved, perfectly seasoned, slightly browned on one side & soft & potatoey on the other with a sprinkle of fresh green onion slivers. I found this spot when I was looking for a place to take my sister to eat. When we saw the menu we were excited and it didn’t disappoint.
We decided to do breakfast today and go back for lunch next time.
The place was clean and the customer service was excellent.
Our food was freshly prepared and so delicious. My waffle was crispy outside and fluffy inside with a buttery flavor. My potatoes were seasoned well with actual seasoning not just salt and oil. The eggs were cooked well too.
