I have NEVER experienced such BAD customer service from the owner himself! (And I have visited plenty places; I never leave reviews but this is worth leaving!) My fiance and I visited this place last weekend and sat at a family booth, since the place was empty and there were plenty other family booths available in case a larger party arrived. The waitress told us it was fine and was very polite; this 1 star is for you! When the owner saw where we were sitting, which was the closest table to him and the staff, he began yelling at both waitresses for allowing us to sit there, right in front of us! He was very angry and was pointing at us, not even being discreet. Of course we felt bad and asked the waitresses if they needed us to move, but she apologized and said we were fine, (we were already eating when this happened). We continued eating. We ordered the special with 3 items and the food was okay but, the soup had too much lime. Anyway, the owner came back out and continued yelling at the waitresses, so my fiance asked the owner if he needed us to move. The owner loudly said No! So my fiance told him that he was making us feel very uncomfortable because of how he was acting and that he needed better management skills because he shouldn't be yelling at his employees that way, especially in front of customers. I thought he was going to apologize but instead, he came up to our table and yelled back that it had nothing to do with us and that he yells to his employees because his employees need to learn how to sit people. Two other people were on the other side of the restaurant and they looked surprised too! Then he asked us, "What am I supposed to do if a party of 6 walks in right now?" The waitress told him there were plenty of more tables and that it was okay. My fiance told him he was missing the point and that he was being VERY unprofessional. The owner walked away and did not even care about making everyone around him uncomfortable! The waitresses were humiliated and we recommended they do not allow that treatment because deserved better! I hope the waitresses look and find a better employer and/or that the owner of this place takes a breather and understands that we all die the same way and should not mistreat/humiliate people! To the OWNER BOB: You are not going to take your family booths or anything else with you when you die! Do some self-reflection! MESSAGE TO HIS WIFE: Do not allow your husband to act this way! I feel very bad for you if he treats you like this too. He clearly needs some anger management classes along with learning what RESPECT is! It is also not fair that your employees have to TOLERATE his Disgusting behavior because they need the job! Trust me, Iāve been ordering the same dishes to-go for years. Today, I was disappointed when I picked up my food and it was packaged differently than they have always done so before. When I got home, I saw that I was given a significantly less amount of something I always order. Also, they changed the dish and added a ton of cabbage to hide that youāre getting less of what you actually ordered. Thatās not right. Youāre paying for quality and quantity, but youāre actually getting less. Additionally, I come to the reviews and I see that the owner isnāt taking covid pre-cautions seriously. Thatās upsetting. I ordered Yellow Curry w/chicken & Pad Si Ew Noodles with beef to go, I was asked to have a seat and about 12-15 mins later the food was ready to go.
