I came in Saturday, March 29th and ordered two stacks of pancakes, a steak biscuit, and a double gravy. I drove 17 minutes to get to my job only to realize that my pancakes and steak biscuit weren’t in the bag. (That was on me I should’ve checked) I tried to call them several times, the 5040 number on the picture and they never answered. So I drove all the way back that 17 minutes. I walked in and waited in line until a young employee asked me “is your food wrong” I said yeah I came in about 30 minutes ago and 3/4s of my order is missing. She proceeded to tell me how it couldn’t have possibly been that long due to the time in my receipt, but I know what the GPS said? She was incredibly rude so I asked for a refund. The manager NEVER came to talk to me and supposedly did a refund for my food I never got. I spent another thirty minutes waiting in the lobby on a receipt for them to finally give me one that doesn’t even say I’ll get a refund just is the receipt. I left a review with the Jacks company asking someone to reach out. THEY NEVER DID. And I still haven’t received my refund. In fact Jacks stole money from me. I worked in fast food, 3+ of those years I worked AT A JACKS my husband is a general manager of a food establishment. I would NEVER be rude to employees. The way the employees at this store treated people there was honestly shocking. I still haven’t gotten my refund and they never reached out to fix it. I’m disputing the charges with my bank. This is ridiculous
My bank says Jacks has to give me a refund. I did the survey on Saturday the day everything happened (since they so graciously responded to me) and nothing has happened and no one has called me. I tried calling corporate and no one answers or calls you back when you leave voicemails. This morning this Caucasian woman was at the window and even at the mic when I was trying to order she basically made me get whatever she wanted to hear. I always get the deluxe breakfast with my choice of sausage. She didn't give me a total didn't repeat it back at the window nothing. So I got the wrong meal. I get home which isn't far and see it's soggy bacon because it's in the gravy or grits or whatever closed it right back up because that's not what I wanted. Call them right up she answered the phone lol then I hear her talking to the employees in the background and they knew she was wrong and not talking to me but talking to them so I said that's ok I'll just pull back up and get my food. It's a quick drive get to the mic no one's in line now so I tell her again I wanted the deluxe she still wants to say what she feels and says you'll have to come inside and I say can you please put someone else on the mic she refused I wanted to get negative but I chose not to and simply ordered another meal which is what I wanted in the beginning the deluxe breakfast. I was wanting to simply make it right and she was too much for me. The other lady I assume a supervisor she was wearing black told her some words and rang up my order and apologized in her behalf. I was frozen with anger but it wasn't really necessary in the first place her manner was terrible and I know she shouldn't be at the window. I think I'll give them a break maybe a year or two. I don't go to any other Jacks. I always loved this location and it really hurts my feelings that I won't be going back for a while. It's just not the same changed so fast. We arrived @10:15 a.m. and I noticed 20 minutes before 11 a.m. They were changing the signs to regular menu items. When I finally get to the speaker to place my order I was told to hold on but nobody came to take my order so I said hello? And a rude A** employee came to the speaker and said "You're not the only customers that we have!" and I said "I can clearly see that". Now it was a few minutes till 11 and when they decided to take my order I ordered breakfast and they said they would no longer serving breakfast so I explained I've been waiting in line for 45 min. but she didn't care so I asked for the Manager and she replied come to the window. When I got there the manager was at the window stating howIt was not their fault that they could not give me breakfast because they were short-staffed And they ran out of breakfast food because they cook it ahead of time So I asked him about his rude employee he would not give her name to me he said that he just fired her don't worry about her which I do not believe for a second.
