Found this gem on an early Sat morning searching for nonchain coffee shops. Greeted me as I walked into a very sweet, calming cafe with pretty teacups & nice music that wasn't overpowering & I waited behind another customer. Took time to explain their chai latte, which was delicious š & then took all the details of how I wanted it made. I also got the warmed blueberry lemon scone with the recommended clotted butter & it was just the right amount of lemon with the chunks of blueberry - tasty & filling - so much so that I couldn't eat more than a bite of the cinnamon coffee cake so I got a nice to go box for later because it was warm & flavorful & too good to waste! Also loved the discount for military, first responders & teachers! ā„ļø And I don't usually comment about the bathrooms, but seriously, they had quality paper, good smelling soap & real hot water. I just wanted to applaud this place & encourage...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOur first visit to this 'teahouse' and was so hoping it would be good. However, the food just isn't up to par ! The flatbread that I got was EXTREMELY hard and I was honestly afraid I was going to break a tooth trying to eat it. I paid $ 13 for it and it wasn't really edible although I forced myself to eat it because I was so hungry. My husband got a sandwich that was supposed to be on a croissant but the version of a crispy, flaky croissant isn't what he got. Theirs was more like round 'bread' with no flaky, fluffy texture. However, he said the chicken salad inside of it was pretty good. There were several people there, so I didn't want to cause a 'fuss' out of respect... but should have requested a refund on my plate ! First impressions are everything, and unfortunately it...

My chicken sandwich was not good, the chicken was sliced up dry reheated bits with an odd flavor. My husband got the flatbread that had the same meat, and it didnāt have arugula or bacon that it was supposed to, and my kids fruit that came with their meals was just one orange cut up which isnāt a big deal on its own but in the bigger picture made it an underwhelming and disappointing lunch, especially in relation to the cost. I couldnāt even eat my sandwich. Iāll probably be back for coffee or maybe in person breakfast food because that was great the last time I came, but none of the lunch food we...
