Three Scoops Premium Ice Cream — Restaurant in Huntsville

This is a cute little ice cream place. There is a great variety of flavors, although the banana cream pie was just about empty. To be fair, I was there toward the end of the night, but I had an absolutely outrageous hankering for that flavor and begrudgingly had to settle for pistachio (which was amazing, so it all worked out). The kids working there (Pala and Leo) were really great and took the time to suggest alternatives when I started to despair. Before deciding on pistachio, Pala suggested I try the carrot cake. She said it was a really popular flavor...but I declined because carrots need to stay in their lane. All of her other suggestions were spot on, though...I had a hard time making up my mind! Mexican hot chocolate?! Cake batter?! Moose Tracks?! A variety of different caramels?! Watermelon sorbet? It was a good problem to have. You should know that they also have ice cream cupcakes, which I plan to get next time. And finally, this place is perfectly situated right next to a bunch of excellent restaurants too...like Big Bowl Thai and Phil Sandovals. I'll definitely be back. Five stars! Great ice cream and...

The white interior makes it obvious how clean the place is kept. The ice cream variety alone has an abundance of choices for young and old alike, including at least 3 vegan options (sorbet). I got the dulce de lece in a chocolate peanut waffle cone and was blown away by not only the freshness of the cone but the chocolate and peanuts as well. I was skeptical when my partner ordered a scoop of mint tracks topped with pistachio but luckily I had to "help out" and was amazed at not only the robust pistachio flavour but also how well pistachio and mint paired.

I didn't try the hot Mexican chocolate but I noticed that the marshmallow used in it was made with fish gelatin.

Well, the ice cream was tasty…. but if you like consistent pieces of hair in your ice-cream this is the place to go to! After the first piece I found I decided to shrug it off even tho I usually freak out bc it’s gross… but the second piece (which was a whole inch of hair) I’m like yo I just ordered a hair ball ice-cream! Decided to dig around bc they say the third times a charm and I got lucky and found a third piece of hair! 🙂 yummy! I thought it was just me but then my daughter told me she had some hair in hers! Cool news is, we had different flavors, so it looks like every flavor you get in there might come with something extra 😄.
