Now, I LOVE Chipotle. I do have to say that this is the ONLY location I've had problems with. My first problem was when I began my order with "A salad with white rice" and the woman prepared that part and then randomly threw a bunch of fajita peppers on it without even looking at me! That ruined that meal for me.
Now, tonight, I went in with my husband and even before it was our turn we could tell that the guy behind the counter was in a foul mood. His body language, bossy tone, and facial expressions were plenty clear! I heard him yell out "I need white rice! I've already called it out once!" and could see the three people in the back working very hard. He then slapped a heaping spoonful of white rice into the customer ahead of me's bowl. When it came my turn I order "A salad with no dressing" and he asked 'white or brown rice?' so without realizing that he was completely out of white rice, I said "white" ... he then scraped the last tiny bit on my lettuce (A laughable amount) and did not even offer to let me wait on a little more (the girl was making a big bowl right behind him) he just slid my food to the 'toppings' girl and moved on to my husband and said "I'm out of white rice" and then slapped brown on my husbands food without even asking if that was okay (Luckily my husband is laid back). May not sound like a big deal... It's rice! But for this pregnant lady, that was enough to ruin it for me, as it is my favorite part!
All in all, I love Chipotle, but I will probably just drive out of my way to a different one from now on. Bad service one...
Read moreFOOD POISONING! Be careful eating here. I have always had a good experience here until this past Tuesday, July 2nd. I ate lunch with a friend (I had Pico, salad lettuce, and Guac - he didn't) and within an hour and a half I was sick. I continued to get worse. I went to emergency clinic and was diagnosed by a doctor with severe intestinal bacterial infection from food poisoning. 4 days later, 2 major antibiotics, meds for bowel spasms and I'm not better. Fever is still over 101... sometimes climbing to 102.9. I can't eat. I can barely hold down liquids. The vomiting and diarrhea are horrid and non stop (sorry, TMI). I don't want anyone to feel or go through what I'm going through. I did call and speak with the manager, she apologized and forwarded my information along. I was then called from a blocked number and spoke with a man that was higher up who asked for all the details. He even apologized for what was happening to me, but offered no assistance. And he said that he would talk with the team to make sure sanitation skills and proper temperature levels were being kept and maintained and cross-contamination was being avoided. I've missed days of work and I'm self-employed so that sucks. I just got off the phone with my doctor and they are sending me to the hospital. It's just not worth it to eat here to take the risk and the gamble. Since I posted on my social media about what has been happening to me more and more people have come forward telling me that they have gotten sick at this same location and that's why they don't eat...
Read moreI know good help is hard to find, but when your job is scooping a few things into a bowl or burrito you wouldn't think it's that hard? Well, leave it up to Hurst Chipotle to have employees that managing that task is monumental..
Ordered 2 veggie bowls & 1 cheese quesadilla.. First off wouldn't you think you should maybe spread the cheese out on the quesadilla.. NO, of course not - put it in one 4in huge clump so 80% of the quesadilla is nothing but tortilla..haha Then came the HUGE task of 2 veggie bowls made exactly the same.. As I told the guy both were the same I immeditiely got asked what was in the 2nd bowl. Then when I told him what I wanted he directly asked me back if i wanted that? Then proceeded to ask me what I wanted on the 2nd bowl... This proceeded on every single item I had him put into the bowl as he looks at me like a deer the headlights.. Not to mention me saying "please only a half of scoop of hot sauce" as he dumps a overflowing full scoop, I just laughed.. The he put the scoop of guacamole half in the bowl and half on the table and just played it off..haha.. Sad thing is I don't even think the guy was stoned or anything - he was just that incompetent... Sad thing is, this similar scenario has happened last 3-4 times I went to this location.. COME ON millennials that job is not that hard.. I'm...
