*Update- my Baker's Dozen only had ten of the thirteen bagels. Here is a quick review. Spent 30 minutes inside waiting for cut up bagels and an ice coffee with no ice, ice coffee no ice (said twice). Greeted as a sir despite wearing a purple shirt, purple hat, and purple purse across my body. Not the most feminine lady out there but still not even a close one. Maybe the cashier was too frazzled with the one person ahead of me that took no less than 5 minutes to place an order. I asked for a dozen bagels and ice coffee-no ice. Was given a ticket with my name completely butchered. What was entered was not even a name. Waited and waited and waited. Watched my hacked up name go from second on the display to "being prepared" . Waited and waited and waited. Am I getting fresh out of the oven bagels? Done! Ready! A bag was placed in the ready area. Clearly not mine. Told the lady who was expecting her to-go order to be ready at 1145 but was then told it would be 1220 that the bag might be her order. It was. She had no idea. I was asked twice by a guy what I was waiting for (thank you, older guy in orange shirt). I believed he got somebody to see what I was waiting for. Spoke to a woman in blue shirt who advised me that the cashier person was to get my bagels. Why is she telling me? Was I suppose to know this? No apologies just a matter of fact observation. I asked why my name was on the board if the cashier was suppose to serve me. She said for the ice coffee. So, I was in Panera for 30 minutes to get bagels ( not waiting any longer for sliced bagels) and guess what, ICE COFFEE WITH ICE filled to the very top. Other than the older guy in the orange shirt, everything about this experience was a fail. I also want to mention, ONE cashier at the time I entered (11:50am)and ONE when I left at 1220-1225. When I got my order placed there were no less than 7 people waiting behind me. I did see a tall lady with brown hairwith keys clipped to her jeans leisurely looking around, walking in the back. Is she a manager? If she is, is seven people in line at prime time for lunch with one cashier acceptable? I hope this is read by management and by anybody who thinks they might want a quick bite to grab. After realizing I was shorted three bagels or Baker's Dozen, it occurred to me they have failed at. Gender recognition 2 name spelling 3 getting customers served quickly Empathy or apologies for the employees that don't know their jobs. getting order correct on receipt Counting bagels, unless TEN is the new...

We placed two orders to go yesterday. When I went to pick them up only one of the orders were there. I spoke to the manager who said that they had no records of it. I didn't have a lot of time as I was on my lunch break and figured maybe my order didn't go through. When I got back to work I looked at my bank account and noticed I was charged TWICE. One payment they did reverse automatically, but was charged for the second and didn't recieve my food. On my bank account it said Panera Hurst I tried to call up there so that they could deliver it since my lunch break was now over. The phone rang and rang. The automatic service said please try not to call between 11 and 1 or 6 and 7. I must have called 15 times and no answer! I have worked in a restaurant before and not answering the phone is unacceptable and completely unprofessional! So, not only did my card get charged I did not get to eat lunch yesterday! I tired calling back about two several times with no answer and then again when I got off at six thirty, no answer!! I finally got a hold of the manager today and she was once again completely rude and insisted that they had no record and It was sent to another store. I asked if there was another locaton in Hurst and she replied "no". She kept acting like I'm trying to rip off the company when all I wanted was to get what I paid for! I told her that I would email her my bank statement to show that I did in fact pay for this meal. Now I have to jump through hoops to get my money and she informed me that she could not do it right now because she's busy. I'm sorry, I was busy yesterday at work too and was I starving because I hadn't eaten all day.
This company needs to improve their customer service and have a way to get a hold of someone at the reaturant. I will never again order from...
Read moreI had a very disappointing experience at this Panera location. My husband and I decided to eat dinner there to spend a $25 gift card that I had received for my birthday. We had eaten at other locations a few times for lunch, but we thought we’d give their dinner menu a try. They had a dinner duo so my husband ordered a flatbread pizza and a chicken sandwich and I ordered a flatbread pizza and a chicken Cobb salad. I had a small tea and he had a water. Our meal was $45 after adding a $2 tip. It took 30 minutes for our buzzer to go off to pick up our meal and the restaurant wasn’t busy (drive-thru seemed to have a constant flow of cars, but not a back-up by any means). I started with my salad first. My husband started with a piece of pizza and he said it was barely warm. When I got to my pizza, it was a little warm on one half and cold on the other half. The bottom of the plate was warm though somehow. I took mine up to the pick-up window to ask if they could heat up my pizza because it wasn’t warm/hot throughout. The staff member told me that they aren’t allowed to take food back into the kitchen and told me I could warm it up it the microwave near the coffee station myself. I hadn’t even take a bite - it was a whole flatbread that barely fit in the microwave. We were both so frustrated and disappointed in our experience. I asked for a to-go box. I will try to heat it up at home for lunch tomorrow. I think we very much overpaid for what we received. Panera lost our future business based on the experience at...
