As a person that currently lives in the coffee capital in the USA, Seattle, Washington and now visiting North Richland Hills, Texas, it did not take long for me to find a coffee place to come to that is spotless, comfortable and offer any specialty coffee or drinks that sooths your palet. To even enhance the experience, there are breakfast choices and trust me fresh homemade muffins will melt in your mouth. To top it all off, I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Hiba. What a pleasant young lady that is super friendly, kind and should be very proud of her business. I would totally recommend that if you have a Bible study group, mom's day out, high school or TCCC professors and students, this is your go to stop! There is plenty of room for your groups. I personally like to sit, enjoy a drink and snack and relax. Should you follow my suggestion, please tell Hiba that Papa Jake suggested that you make a stop. Did I mention that Hiba can make any specialty coffee, lattes etc because she can make whatever you want. I guarantee that Babylon Coffee Roaster will be your "comfy" spot forever! Head to 9986 C Grapevine Hwy C, Hurst, Texas. Hello everyone! After mass today I decided to stop at my favorite new coffee shop! Since staying here in Texas awhile before heading back to the Pacific Northwest "aka" Puyallup, WA. this is my "go to" for great coffee and goodies. Today I met Hiba's daughter, Sandra and of course her husband, Rani (Ronnie). What a great family to get to know. I will tell you that this is the place to go before or after church, temple, mosque or just a place to relax. It was very busy today and would be great if it was busy everyday. Today, I asked Sandra to pick and make me a nice hot drink. She asked if I like chocolate and that was a definite yes. She surprised me with the S'mores hot drink. What better than to add a Pumpkin muffin with my drink. Both were absolutely delicious. This is a private family owned business. What better can you do is to disregard franchise places like Starbucks (there's one on every corner in Washington State) than to support a family own business. Keep that in mind. The cost for specialty drinks here at Babylon is excellent versus competition. So stop in and let them know "Papa Jake" sent ya? Enjoy!!!

Well I stopped for my breakfast today and let a new young lady working behind the counter, Meorah (Me or a). What a perfect fit. A great smile and friendly. It must be a prerequisite to work at Babylon. Great smile, friendly and good at your craft. Today Meorah made me a Nutella cold drink. Another home run! Very tasty plus the sausage, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. The first time for the sausage breakfast sandwich. Another great sandwich. Today was packed and I was pleasantly impressed. Make this aust stop 🛑 n the morning! Open to all people regardless of race, color, religion and LBGQ+. An all welcoming place to feel safe and friendly atmosphere. UPDATE: NOVEMBER 2nd Today I met another new member to the staff, McKenzie. What a sweet smile and so friendly. I must say that if you ever want to work here you must have a great smile, extremely friendly and a super barista. If got the smile and friendly but you don't want me creating your drink... 😂 This is Sunday and the place is packed. Let me tell Principal Burns at St. John's The Apostle Catholic School that you can be very proud that your moms are making mums at Babylon Coffee Roasters. Thank you and your moms for supporting a private family that are also a Catholic family. So welcome St. John's The Apostle...

I recently visited this spot and I have to say, it was an absolutely amazing experience from start to finish! The ambiance grabbed my attention, it's got this perfect blend of cozy and sophisticated vibes that make you feel instantly at ease. The lighting is soft and inviting, with subtle decor elements that add a touch of elegance without overwhelming the space. Whether you're there for a casual hangout or a relaxed evening, it sets the ideal tone.

What really sets this place apart is how unique it feels compared to other spots in the area. It's not your run-of-the-mill venue; there's a creative flair in everything from the layout to the little details, like the eclectic seating arrangements and some artistic touches on the walls that spark conversation. It's the kind of uniqueness that makes you want to tell your friends about it and come back for more.

And let's talk about the laid-back atmosphere, it's spot on! No rush, no pressure, just a welcoming environment where you can unwind and enjoy the moment. The staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive, which only enhanced that chill vibe. I spent a couple of hours there and left feeling refreshed and happy. If you're in Hurst or nearby, do yourself a favor and check it out, it's a hidden gem worth discovering! Highly recommended for anyone seeking a memorable,...

I’d rather have a cup of coffee from an independently owned establishment than from the corporate-owned place that’s on every corner. Never been here before but today I had a latte; my husband had a mocha. The service was very friendly and we were very happy with our drinks. The options of coffee and sweet or savory breakfast treats are plentiful. I just wish there was room on the wall menus for descriptions of every special latte. There are descriptions online but not for every latte. So glad this place was open today as a lot of places were closed due to the cold but certainly not Antarctic weather.

Update:

This is the only place I go to for coffee in H-E-B. One reason is that I’m lactose intolerant and surprisingly there are still many coffee shops that aren’t accommodating. But Babylon Coffee Roasters is. And they have almond milk which is my preference over soy. Second, the quality of their drinks is why my husband and I keep going back. Their Flamed Orange latte is magnificent. I have also had the coco-bana, honey lavender and honey rose lattes and recommend them all! I tried their sausage rolls today and loved them because the bread is a bit sweet. Can’t wait to try their breakfast sandwiches. This place is only 5 min from my job. I had a wonderful breakfast date with my husband this morning. We’ll have to do...

I’m disappointed in my experience here. I came at 8:30pm and ordered a matcha latte. Understandably, the shop closes at 9pm, but the barista made it evident she was not pleased a customer showed up late and that she was trying to get out of there. I was surprised at how quickly my matcha was made. At first this was a pleasant surprise, but after my first sip it was clear why it was made so quickly. There was too much matcha powder used and it wasn’t whisked properly. My drink was very clumpy. I did atleast enjoy the housemade blueberry syrup in it, but I had to take my matcha home and further doctor it up as it was truly not drinkable as-is. I regularly visit shops in DFW to test matcha drinks and further market the coffee shops via Instagram, so I am familiar with how matcha should be made and how it should taste. After seeing how the owner responds to below reviews I’m hesitant to even post this. My review as a customer should be taken seriously and I can only hope that proper consideration is taken. As a fellow Christian, I will be praying for you and your business. I can only hope that your practices improve.
