When I first moved to this area in 2012, I shopped at this location. It was clean and nice and, except for one particular person, the employees were friendly and helpful. Later, I started shopping at a different Kroger simply because it was closer to other places I shopped.
I recently went back to this location a few times and I am shocked. This store is very ghetto now. The place is always dirty. The shelves aren't tidy at all. The employees don't seem to give a flip about anything and that one employee that I had a negative impression of from 2012 still works there and she is as awful as ever. Her name is Angie and I am astonished that she is allowed to have a customer service job. She is rude, her voice is absolutely piercing and cringeworthy, and she acts like any request for assistance is a bother.
But here's the main reason why I am writing this review today.
I visited this location this morning. As I was walking into the parking lot, an employee was riding out of the store on a motorized cart. I'm not sure why he was going out instead of in, but whatever.
This employee is very heavy and his shirt does not cover his stomach, so the bottom of his stomach hangs out for everyone to see. He also smells like he does not bathe very often. I don't know why any employer would allow him to come to work like that, but it really isn't my business.
What is my business is what he did while he was riding towards me on the cart. He reached inside his nose with one finger, picked out a large booger, and flicked it at me as he passed by. I had to jump out of the way to avoid being hit by this man's snot!!! It is flu season, we are living with covid, and this disgusting creature found it appropriate to pick his nose and flick it at me. I went straight inside and complained.
I can't believe anyone like that is allowed to have a customer service related job. I am beyond disgusted.
Throw in that the store is ghetto, there's a sinkhole in the parking lot, many of the self checkout stands never work, there's usually only one or two employee managed checkout stands, and the whole foundation of the building is tilted so it's like you're walking uphill from the back of the store - it's a miracle anyone...
Read moreThe place is kind of clustered. Packed way too tight, you kinda feel closterphobic in this location. I didnt find a lot of what I went in there for, leaving me to HAVE to go to another store but I kinda expected that. I was told to write a list of what I wanted at the deli because lack of communication had the only girl apparently working the deli counter having to scramble to put together a bulk order in 20 minutes. Then.. the lady working the register was downright rude to the customer in front of me. Refused to let him look in his bag at the price, refused to cancel his order and refund him cause she would have to go to the counter. And while checking me out, had the audacity to tell me I was making her crazy cause the packaged label was crooked and not reading it and I didnt know the price all while demeaning the bag clerk. I was stressed out after leaving this place. This location is heavily shopped by the senior community and I sure feel...
Read moreI do not recommend ordering mobile/online pickup at this location. The last 3 times I have order have been disastrous. Two visits in a row I've had the pickup people call me back (repeatedly- blowing up my phone) because for some reason they did not process my payment. I had to drive back up to the store due to their mistake both times. The last visit on 7/10 around 4:20pm I arrived & checked in to wait 20 minutes & be told my 4-5pm order was not ready & had not been shopped yet. I was told they would call me in an hour when it was ready for me to return. Around 6:30 I had not heard back from them so I called & was told the order was ready. I don't understand why they could not just call me & notify me it was not ready @ 4... or why they could not call to let me know when it was finally ready. The communication & organization within the pickup dept at this store is...
