Arby's — Restaurant in Hutchinson

I'll be honest and say from the get-go that I'm not a real fan of fast food. In my experience it's usually overpriced and underwhelming. But Dad wanted to stop at Arby's yesterday so I obliged. The building has been remodeled inside and out this year and both Dad and the associates commented on the change for the better. Honestly, I don't remember what it looked like when I visited years before. It's pleasant enough, though. I do remember the sandwich I had then and the review I read about Arby's around 18 months ago. They described the famous roast beef as "mystery meat" and I had to agree. The meat then was in a small pile on a bun, sliced microns thin, and sort of a gray-brown color. The sandwich was dry, and if I hadn't been told it was beef, I'm not sure I would have known. But that was then. I have to admit the sandwich I had yesterday was a vast improvement. The beef was still sliced wafer-thin but both the taste and texture convinced me it had once been part of a cow. There was a generous dollop of cheese(?) sauce on the beef. It was a bright yellow-orange, semi-liquid and not sure you could call it "dairy," but palatable. Then, the crowning glory, three slices of easily recognizable bacon. On the whole, pretty decent sandwich. Not too dry (thank you cheese(?) sauce!), and a nice bacony crunch to complement the beef. Congrats! Staff was friendly and accommodating (made us fresh fries and rings) and the place was clean....

My husband and I went to get a bite to eat we decided to go to Arby's I went in to order placed my order I waited for over 23 minutes and still didn't have my order I ask 3 times about our order ,they said they were short handed because it was slow earlier, and sent help home ,my husband came in and ask what was going on there was only us and one other in front of us when I ask again the cook and the manager said we take our drive Thur customers first I counted 11 or 12 drive through ,I ask again they said it's still going to be awhile ,that's when I requested my money back , not only that the cooks and the food handlers never had hair nets their hair was long . UPDATE: Arby's got a hold of me and made the situation right. I have gone to this Arby's before and have never had a problem until tonight. I went in about 40 minutes before close ordered some sandwiches to take home. I ordered two of the French dip mozzarella sticks and some french fries. Got home and they were cold they were not cut and while I was in the Drive-Thru someone in the back who I could not see from where I was kept asking the guy how much longer. Mind you I had place my order and I was done before 10:30 and they don't close till 11:00 so what the big rush was who knows who cares it was rude and the food and service suffered because of it.
