We went through the drive through earlier tonight at a nearby store (amazing quality during the day with an equally amazing owner) and ordered two bean burritos and two spicy potato soft tacos, all fresco style with hot sauce and the lady running the register didn't understand what fresco meant apparently despite explaining it to the employee and then 20 or so minutes later waiting in line we receive our food with cheese on it.
We pulled back around to return the food after another long wait and she slams open the window giving my wife and I am evil look, I tell her that there was cheese and no fiesta salsa on our food and the night manager shows up and asks us what's wrong in an angry manner so I explain the situation and the entire crew gets involved in the discussion.
Eventually they remake said food and it was fine but the entire experience was abhorrent overall, my wife and I didn't get to eat until over an hour later due to all of this and never even got our sauces, let alone even a cinnamon twist as reconciliation.
I used to work for a Taco Bell franchisee as a teenager and none of the above would fly under my old store manager back then (2006-2008) who actually cared about the product and customers.
The store number of said incident was 003778 and the crew members name was Andrea H on the receipt, the said incident occured on 9/8/2021 at 9:55pm and according to the receipt was order number 431.
People should be held accountable for their actions and my wife and I should not be treated like dirt for ordering a simple meal after a long day and exclaiming that we want it all fresco style over seven times via the drive through and not getting what we ordered.
If we didn't check our food before we ate them then we would have had conquences due to their actions. We are very very disappointed as the 30th street taco bell messes up on fresco style all the time so we quit going to that one and now go to the 4th Street location. When the franchisee is in charge the food quality is amazing but tonight was very bad and we don't want to go back and we all ready have a very very limited choices to eat out...
Read moreGot shorted food, overcharged, and disrespected by their night manager (he straight up lied, said price had changed on an item, even though it didn't, he just didn't know which button to press). Had another manager tell me they would make it right, when returned to get it, had day manager treat me like I was lying, he called other manager to confirm, then after confirming still got shorted. Plus, I had also placed an order, and they forgot the chips for my nachos. I'm so done with them that I didn't even return for the chips. Seems like ever since they became drive-thru only, they've lost respect for their customers, and it seems they only care about the money now. But they've lost my business, I won't be cheated and disrespected, then be dumb enough to return. I hope they get their act together, but don't see that happening any time soon. I will not pay $12 for 6 steak melts, which should have only been $7.20, and have the night manager lie and say there's been a price change, because he was too lazy to find the other button. Wish things were different, used to consider them friends, was even close enough that my dad loaned his motorcycle so one of the brothers could get his motorcycle license, but now apparently only money matters to them. They've lost sight on how to treat their customers, probably because they've been drive-thru only for so long and lost touch with the customers, and now it's cost them my business and friendship. Hopefully they treat you better than they did me. And check your order before you leave, also make sure to keep your receipt, because if you don't keep it they won't make right, no matter how much money you...
Read moreI can't believe I'm leaving a review for a Taco Bell, but this one and the other Hutch location on 30th are different. I think they are owned by the same guy and he actually works the drive up window. I've eaten at Taco Bells for 40+ years, mostly in Colorado and I can honestly say, this location is the best Taco Bell in the country. There are three simple reasons for this: 1) The staff actually acts like they take pride in their role in the restaurant and it shows. 2) They don't screw your order up, which seems to be endemic at every other TB drive-thru I visit. 3) They are the only TB's in Kansas that I've found that have green sauce. That means they are the only Taco Bells in the state where you can get a Spicy Bean Burrito. Anyway, I feel silly writing this review, except every time I'm even close to Hutchinson, Kansas, I can't help but stop for a couple Spicy Bean Burritos and a friendly smile from whomever is working, because I know they will be there smiling and doing a good job making me what I actually want...
