I decided to place the order online, for the first time. What a mistake.
I ordered the 12 piece Thighs and Legs. Simple enough.
I wanted to add a remark to the order (of only thighs and legs), and write that I only want thighs. Nope. Can't do that! No place to write anything on the order before it's paid and sent.
When I got there, I walked in, to make sure I get what I wanted.
The guy at the cashier was puzzled with the fact that I ordered online. I showed him my phone. He took it and started to punch the order on his till. Then he asked me for payment?!? I told him I already paid online! Oh. Ah. OK. Called in someone in charge. What do I do? She told him to wait for the next customer and just change the order on his screen.
I told him that I ordered extra crispy, and I would like to get only thighs. Nope - they had NONE, and I would need to wait about 30 minutes to get any. No what I would expect from a "fast-food" restaurant.
OK, I accepted getting the regular coating. To go, please.
Online, I asked for plates. Nope, no plates in the bag. No napkins. No plasticware. Nope. I guess we're supposed to eat with our (dirty) hands, without plates, and then wipe our greasy hands on our shirts, right?
Oh, When I asked for plates, he gave them to me. I had to ask separately for the plasticware. No brain to give them to me without me having to ask for them. And the plasticware was only a fork. No knife. Not too easy to eat a chicken thigh with only a fork. They should try it one day...
Oh, BTW, the customer who ordered before me got his order wrong. There were missing items and items that were not ordered on his tray. Seriously? The place was NOT busy. It was only him and I there.
Bottom line - The chicken was good, as always, even without the extra crispy coating, but the level of knowledge of the employees, customer "care" and organization needs to be...
Read moreThis KFC used to be a good place to go eat. Not any more. Ever since the dining room was closed and customers are forced to go thru the drive thru or pick up at curb the food quality has become poor and the service is terrible, employees act like they're doing you a favor by being there. There is no direct accountability and if you call the restaurant, you get excuses or hear "well I don't feel it happened that way" or " he/she would never do that". It is clear the management and the employees do not care about food quality, good service or the customers. They are constantly out of food products such as coleslaw and gravy as well. The chicken is overly greasy. Your chance of your order being wrong is 50% or better. You have to beg for napkins, salt, pepper, sporks, ketchup, honey, butter, dipping sauces, etc. And when they grudgingly give you some you get 2 of each for 4 meals. They practically throw your order at you through the window after rushing you to order, constantly trying to end your order. Oh and heaven forbid you give them cash, you'd think you just handed them a hand full of feces. I had one employee tell me I could only use a debit or credit card because they weren't allowed to touch cash. I just left and haven't been back. We used to go at slower times. Our experiences are not just a one time thing, they've happened each of the final 4 times we went. We kept giving them chances. We now go to Chick-fil-A ALL of the time now. Might give them another chance when the dining room reopens. But if this is how KFC allows their business to be run, this location should just be shut down....
Read moreWe wanted mashed potatoes, gravy, fries and some chicken tenders. We waited in the drive through line for close to thirty minutes unable to leave. We literally could not go forward or backwards. I thought about driving over the grass but because it rained earlier in the day I was afraid of getting stuck. KFC held us hostage for 30 minutes. When we finally made it to the window I asked the worker if they had a time limit to get food out. He stated they did but that they had ran out of chicken! Kentucky Fried CHICKEN ran out of cooked CHICKEN! When I asked if we could have been served right away he said yes they had plenty of tenders. I asked why they didn't have the person in front of us pull forward to wait in a spot he informed me they didn't have enough staff to run things out to people. I honestly started to feel claustrophobic, unable to leave. The tenders look nothing like the picture on the menu. They forgot our fries. When I went in to get the forgotten fries there were multiple employees on their phones standing around. We will never go back to any and I mean ANY KFC. The worst experience I've ever had in any restaurant, fast food...
