Always love a good Smoothie King smoothie or bowl & was thankful to find one right off the 57 South heading back to Nashville. Pulled into the parking lot around 12:00 PM only to find the door locked. There weren't any signs indicating that they were closed, but I also didn't see anyone inside or any employees behind the counter. There were 3 cars parked out behind the building, so I decided to try the drive-through. To my surprise, someone came across the speaker to take my order as I drove up. They didn't have a clue that the door was locked - they had been there for 4 hours (online hours indicated 8:00am - 9:00pm) & didn't know the front door was locked? 😳 And this was a busy "after Thanksgiving" Saturday. I don't nornally leave reviews, but as a fellow small business owner, that's 4 hrs of potential profit lost all because none of the 3 employees that were there had the presence of mind to unlock the front door. Hopefully, this was an isolated incident, but again, as a small business owner, it's not something that I would want to take a chance on...
Read moreThis was probably in my top three "worst" experiences in the "hospitality industry!" While traveling with my family @travelin'withtheAgnews, from Kalamazoo to Little Rock, we made a normal @smoothieking stop. I thought I ordered the usual on my mobile app (10 Agnews) but was missing one smoothie. I called the store to have them make it so I can pick it all up together only to get the response, "you can order it in the store or online." I explained that you can't make two orders back to back and the worker stated, they are not accustomed to taking orders by phone, but I "HAVE" to come in and pay in person. I told her don't worry about it. We went ahead and picked up our order and I asked the logic behind having to tell me I "HAVE" to pay in person. Her attitude was so bad, I explained that it was a terrible representation of the company and she said "Thank You." Her name is Makayla, and though I pray she has an encounter with the Most High, she is the type of employee that would cause a person to never support a...
Read moreOrdered 30 dollars of food that was incorrectly prepared by a fresh new hire. They had this kid operating the entire store. Clearly they were overwhelmed and did not understand how to make smoothies and gather entire orders correctly, as I was missing two sides of yogurt pretzels. Tried to get a refund and manager was AWOL the kid said and to check back the following day. Called corporate and they dealt with the same thing trying to get a hold of the manager, they said they wanted to give the store a chance to make it right. The store never responded to corporate. I reached out to corporate and they profusely apologized on behalf of the store, it's mismanagement and issued me my refund a week and a half later. This store needs to be shut down permanently for horrible bottom of the barrel management whom refuses to follow and abide by company and brand standard...
