This place was extremely unprofessional and racist. The bartender and the manager failed to speak to us with the common curtsy expected as paying customers. I was extremely unsatisfied with the service provided. In addition, management failed to be considerate or deescalate the situation at hand. I came into town for celebratory reasons. My friend suggested we go to Brother’s Bar and Grill. It was roughly around one o’clock am and we had just entered the facility for the first time. Quite frankly, if I knew the heartache and misery we would later experience I would’ve decided to stay home. We asked for one shot. The shot estimated to $6 a piece. With there being no considerable service and the first drink of the night we didn’t consider to tip. The bartender rudely walks over to us and aggressively state “ If you guys are not going to tip we are not going to service you and walked away”. We were truly distraught seeing that this was our drink of the night and unaware of any policy that indicated we had to tip. As a curious person I kindly asked the other bartender if this was the policy here for future references. My friend and I were rudely ask to leave this facility after the bartender that served us abruptly interrupted a conversation I was having with another bartender. The bartender asked another staff member to remove us from the premises. My friend wanted to know what the “issue” was since we haven’t done anything that can be seen as or interpreted as obstruction. Once asked, he failed to identify what the issue was. We kindly asked for the manager to come over. Instead of listen to paying customers he asked us to leave the premises without knowing what the “issue” was. Once we tried to explain the issue at hand, he rudely brushed us off and grabbed an officer. As a black woman in America I feared for my life. I don’t believe asking questions should warrant being kicked out or grabbing an officer. I will never return to...
Read moreMy friend and I visited brothers for the first time (we’re not frequent bar hoppers). We both ordered one shot and didnt tip, not realizing that was the culture to tip after only one shot. The bartender rudely shouted “If you guys aren’t going to tip, we aren’t going to serve you. We make a living off of tips!” I responded saying, “We were unaware”and she walked away. I understand being upset about not getting a tip, but I certainly didnt think it was appropriate to be rude about it, especially when we were rushed into paying and it took a while to be served after she walked passed us a few times without acknowledging us. My friend was obviously upset and politely asked another coworker the policy and he politely responded and answered her question. The bartender that served us came over shouting at my friend and repeatedly told us to get out. I thought that was uncalled for. A “manager” came over to tell us to get out without even hearing our side of the story. He called his “manager” over and he did the same thing. When I asked him what was the issue and the reason as to why we had to leave, he said “I don’t know, but you have to go”. As a paying customer, it was very frustrating to hear we were told to leave when we’ve done nothing wrong and not even having a reason behind it. Then he proceeded to get the officer as we were already walking out. I thought that was over the top and being African American, I immediately feared for my life. The experience was horrible and I will never be back. It was one thing to let us know about the tip, but the way she went about it was very rude and forcing us to leave because of it was outrageous. They had very poor...
Read moreTHEY SERVICE SUCK AND MANAGEMENT IS EVEN WORSE, ONLY GO IF BAD SERVICE DOESN’T BOTHER YOU! I REPEAT ONLY GO IF BAD SERVICE DOESN’T BOTHER YOU! Went to Brothers tonight and received the worse service EVER! Came in and sat down and literally for 5 minutes people walked passed us without acknowledging us. When asked for a manager was told by a staff member they are on bar service only, then I said why do you have ppl seating themselves not to mention the fact I’m not blind and see plenty of ppl sitting around that wasn’t in the bar area! Demanded to speak to a manager and this young blonde girl comes over and we explained how no one has come to the table to even offer us water and as the manager her response was we are in between shifts and ppl are leaving and we are closing registers out😮. Wait is that your response as the Manager on duty meaning it’s acceptable for your patrons to wait and not be acknowledged! When asked for the District Managers info her response was he wasn’t there. I’m sure but that isn’t what I asked. I asked for the info so that we could contact him. She then says well I can take your information and leave it for him. Wait ✋🏽 so you think for one minute you will do that when you aren’t even trying to make this right or even offer a simple apology! No I’m good. They are in the are where are the college students hang out so needless to say they probably don’t care about losing 2 customers and that’s probably why the managers aren’t even trained to provide customer service but it’s plenty of places to get a burger and cheap drinks and Brothers doesn’t have to be one of them. So I REPEAT ONLY GO IF BAD SERVICE...
