This store has been struggling for months if not a year now--completely with staffing. They refuse to pay people enough and so they don't have the number of workers they need. The employees that are there do a great job and do not in any way deserve criticism. The deck is stacked against them, and that's on owners and the corporation at large.
Long waits and frequent order mistakes. It's that simple. And, again, not the employees' fault. When you're up against it all. the. time. you are going to make mistakes. That is a given. But this problem is 100% the owner's fault. Raise your wage and you'll have your staffing needs covered. Things will run more smoothly. Customers will be happier. Don't raise your wage and this store will continue to suffer. Its employees will continue to suffer. Your reputation will continue to suffer.
I cannot fathom the absolute arrogance it takes to think, as an owner, that you are still providing a service that people should pay for. If I wait 40 minutes in a drive through, my order better be PERFECT. FLAWLESS. Not a single fry or pickle missing or in the wrong place! No errors of any kind. And even then you've fallen short of my expectations. It's fast food. The insult to injury that it takes to run a store with such long waits and such poor outcomes. They oughta just close this one down. They can't staff themselves enough to be effective.
There's a young Asian kid who works here who does like four jobs, obviously covering for an absence of staff. He'd be an asset to any company in any position. 100% superstar quality. He is gracious under extreme pressure. Efficient. Kind. The works. You know what I see what I look at him doing such a great job under so poor of circumstances? A company that absolutely hates him. A company that puts their own profit above their employee's welfare. Everyone who works at this store should simply walk out, and the owner should eat whatever losses comes from it. That is, apparently, the only way that these people will learn.
Do not go to this restaurant. Do not go to any restaurant that is struggling with staffing. They are shooting themselves in the foot and they don't deserve what is tantamount to your charity, given how poor the experience can be. It's a restaurant chain with multi-billion dollar annual profit. This isn't exactly...
Read moreThis was my favorite Burger King to visit for many years. I've never visited late in the evening. I have always had excellent in the morning and afternoon. I did a claim on the Burger King app Saturday with no response as they keep promising. From the looks of the reviews here no response on here neither. I want to still post for people to take my experience into consideration.
I did an app order for driver thru pick up. I come to the window. There is a young lady at the window waiting on the cook to hand her the bags. She took her hair down out of the ponytail, scratched all through her hair, flicked something out of her finger, then put her hair back into a ponytail. She grab the bags from the bagger and handed them to me. I looked through the bags I said it's the wrong order. I gave the name. They had me pull around to the doors to wait.
I decided to get out of the car because I did not want the lady to touch my bag nor food. The dining area was locked. I stood at the window to watch. The food bagger bagged my food and brought it out. I told her, you must tell the young lady she should not play in her hair while handling food, it's not sanitary.
I saw her tell the young lady. The young lady touched her hair again by flicking her ponytail with a negative gesture. We decided not to eat the food. The food wasn't even hot nor lukewarm. This was terrible to see because they always have great service, fresh food, and...
Read more3 different Oaklandon Rd visits. #1 I previously ordered the 2 whopper deal & the burger was so despicably cold I just gave mine away. #2 later ordered 2 ice cream CONES, I get to the drive thru window & employee attempted to hand me 2 Sundae cups of ice cream. I reaffirmed “that’s not what I ordered “. She responded “we ran outta cones. I say “well let’s make em sundaes then?” She responded she couldn’t do that & asked the reluctant Supervisor to no avail. I never implied I wouldn’t/couldn't pay the difference by all means. #3 Today I ordered the coupon 2 croissants, hash brown & coffee. The guy kept asking me for the code in the itty bitty coupon. I kept telling him I didn’t have my readers or magnifying glass. Then he arrogantly tried showing me where to look. Again, I say “I can’t see that”. He snatched my coupon outta my hand. He gave me my bag of food asked about jelly, creamer & sugar I got em & pulled off. His vibe/energy was so horrible he forgot my coffee. I went back thru drive thru, say to him “you forgot my coffee”. He defensively shaded me by saying “you pulled off”. Clearly it his attitude that caused him to be hostile & forgetful. Burger King need to check their employee’s customer service, accountability & law breaking, OSHA non compliance street attire “dirty do rags”. I conclude their common practice has become so...
