Very disappointed at the service at this location. I frequently buy and sell with Simply Chic and was at your store today to sell items that were folded, laundered and sorted neatly in a tote to meet your standards. I was in the store less than 3 minutes and witnessed the employee take my items out of the tote and put them right back in the tote without even looking through them. When I questioned how she managed to look through 30 - 40 plus items that fast she stated she did not have to look through them, she has been with the company 10+ years and she knew what she was looking for. How can she possibly know what she is looking for if she didn't even look at the items. If that were the case I could have took a picture of the folded items and sent it to your store via email instead of wasting my time, gas and effort to travel 35 + miles to this store. I would not recommend selling your items to this location, it would be a waste of time and effort for the consumer. As a courtesy to the customer at least look at the items if they are willing to come to your store. Very very disappointed and a waste of time. The other locations are not like this one. At least the other stores actually look and inspect the items that you bring to them. Not sure it I will be visiting this one again. And I am very aware of the brands and condition of items that you are looking to buy. I am sure if she had just took the time and effort to look through them, there would have been some items of interest and I would have not felt that this trip was a waste of my time. I have previously had the same experience with the same employee at this store before where she doesn't look at your items that you are bringing to sell and the minute you walk away from the buy counter, she will immediately tag your container no buy without looking through the items. When I took the same items to the same Fishers store when she was not there just to see if the other employees would do the same thing, they did not and looked at the same items and bought some of the items that were brought in. Does she just not feel like doing her job??? Why are you even hired if you don't feel like doing the job that you are paid to do by this company. I am a woman, this is my sons account. I Have gone into this store several times to sell my items. My items have always been, in season , some new with tags. both times taking in a full basket. For the second time they DID NOT TAKE one single Item-nothing, I had over 60 items for Them To choose from.

Also, I watch the person going through My clothing and she was On the Phone the entire time , pulling items out of The Basket and barely glanced at my items.

As I was Looking through their store they had several ripped items for sale and many, many dated items. I felt my items where more in season and nicer than most on their floor

I then left went to two other shops including my favorite store, Amanda’s in Carmel , and both shops bought and consigned many items

Final thoughts - I think the stores need to realize the time and effort people spend getting the Items together , taking them in, waiting , and then taking them back. I have hundreds of Items to consign or Sell , But again, I won’t Waste My Time !

. Anyway, I won’t be returning to this Location to buy or sell .

I've been in this store a handful of times. Some of their selections are very limited, there's not much to choose from and some stuff is very pricy compared to other consignment shops. The employees are usually friendly. However, I went in there to sell clothes on my lunch break and was told I was next in line so I waited in store. 30 minutes later I look over there, my bag is still untouched, and two of the girls are up there trying on vests and other clothes not going through my bag or the other's behind me in line, wasting our time. I leave and come back, and they informed me that they couldn't take a single item... I had NWT White House Black Market, Nike, GAP, Buckle, etc. When I pack my bag of clothes to sell I put them in there a specific way to make sure they've been gone through, and these clothes were untouched. If you don't want to take anything that's one thing, but do not make me waste my entire lunch break because you want to have a fashion show behind the counter and then have the audacity to not go through my bag of clothes. Plato's is down the street, their selection is bigger and prices are cheaper. I won't be shopping...
