Everytime I go to Hupp's, it is an amazing experience. I have been going in for whatever jewlrey related need I have had for over 10 years, and I would never trust anyone else. The service is absolutely top notch, and their warmth and friendliness is consistant and genuine. On this visit, I had a watch with a lot of sentimental value, and the band broke and was not saveable. They went above and beyond to incorporate as much of the old band as possible and integrates it into the new band, to keep the integrety and specialness of the original band into the watch as a whole. This was not an easy task I was asking of them, and they spent the extra time to insure it was as close to being the original as humanly possible. How many places would go that much trouble?? Well, Hupp's did and they did it gladly. And they price they charged for the work was so reasonable, that I don't think it was even fair. I was only charged a fraction of what I would have been willing to pay. I still want to go back and ask "are you sure on the price??? Honestly, if you are going anywhere else for your jewlrey needs or repairs....your're not going to the right place. Sarah and Michelle were the two that helped me on this visit, but rest assured....whoever greets you when you walk through the door will give you their very best. Top tier service at exceptionally great prices! This is my go to jeweler from now on! The staff are super friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Their prices are CRAZY low! I bought a diamond online and initially bought a ring from Shane Co. I took my loose diamond to Shane Co to have it mounted to the ring that I bought from them! They told me it was going to be 900 dollars to mount my diamond to my engagement ring. A ring that I had bought from Shane Co. I told them I wasn't going to pay 900 dollars and I would take my ring elsewhere to have the diamond mounted. After leaving I was informed that having an outside jeweler mount my diamond to the ring I bought from Shane Co would void the lifetime warranty that came with the ring. The lifetime warranty was the entire reason for me buying the ring locally instead of buying it from the online store I bought the diamond from. Needless to say I returned the ring to Shane Co and received a full refund. I purchased a new custom designed ring from the online store I originally bought the diamond from. Hupp Jewelers charged me 125 dollars to mount my diamond to my new engagement ring. I was told it would take two weeks and they had it done in less than one week! Hupp jewelers only reports their 5/5 in the 368 reviews listed. They don’t report their poor reviews. I went into Hupp jewelers to have two rings made to match my speciality aircraft ring. As the office manager was writing up the order, I ask her what she would estimate the price, she told me about $750 and I gave her the go-a-head. About a week later, one of the twins working there called me to say each ring would be $2,000. To justify this she told me the ring was solid gold and had a diamond on the front. The office manager said nothing about that; who better than the office manager to know this and factor that in her estimate? I asked the twin when I would get my ring back and she said she was going to call the jeweler the following Tuesday and call me on Tuesday. She didn’t call me until the following Tuesday, a week later than she said she was going to call me. The service at Hupp jewelers is substandard. The Hupp jeweler manager, with 20+ years of experience as she states, provides an estimate 2.6 times lower than the actual cost. The initial estimate $750 and the actual cost was $2,000.
