I'm writing to share a recent and deeply frustrating experience I had with the Domino’s located at 11135 Pendleton Pike, Suite 50, Indianapolis, IN 46236.
To be honest, this was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with any business, and I’m typically a very patient and understanding person. But this situation was so disorganized and stressful that I feel obligated to share it.
We were planning a pizza party for our company and I planned to order 30 pizzas and breadsticks for delivery. I decided to place the order in person rather than by phone to avoid confusion. I first visited a Domino’s location just 7 minutes away from our office, but they said they don’t deliver to our address and directed me to the Pendleton Pike location.
I visited the Pendleton Pike store on Tuesday morning (6/3/25) to place the order for delivery at 11:00 AM the next day (Wednesday, 6/4/25). The woman who helped me in-store was fantastic—kind, patient, and went the extra mile by calling her manager when the register wasn’t working. After about 20 minutes, they were able to process the order. She gave me her manager's name (Marlon) and the store's number so I could call to make payment the next day.
We ended up rescheduling the pizza party to Thursday (6/5/25), giving the store even more advance notice. I texted Marlon and called the store to inform them that the delivery date had changed, and both confirmed they would update the delivery order.
However, when I called Thursday morning to make the payment, I was told the order was listed as carryout—not delivery. This was frustrating, as I had confirmed delivery at least three separate times. Still, I agreed to just pick it up myself to avoid further issues. Shortly after, Marlon texted to let me know the order was actually out for delivery, so I returned to the office.
Then, I called the store to double-check, only to be told again that the order was listed as carryout and was waiting for me to pick up. I was informed that the delivery address in the system was incorrect—it had been entered as the store’s own address. One of the employees said they were on the phone with another manager who confirmed it was supposed to be carryout. I texted Marlon again and headed back toward the store to pick it up.
Just as I was on my way, I received another call from the store saying, “Oops, never mind—it is out for delivery, and the driver is leaving in 3 minutes.” So I turned around and returned to the office once again.
The pizzas didn’t arrive until 12:00 PM—an hour later than the scheduled time. While I want to stress that everyone I interacted with (Marlon, the original employee who took the order, and the woman I spoke to on the phone) was kind and tried to be helpful, the overall communication and coordination from the store was absolutely terrible. I spent two stressful hours trying to figure out whether my order would be delivered or not.
Despite multiple confirmations of both the delivery time and method, the execution was a mess. This was a very disappointing experience, especially for such a large and planned order. Thank you for taking the time...
Read moreDid an online order for a pretty good amount. 4 adults and 5 kids to feed. About 1hour into awaiting for the order we checked the status online which still stated it was in the prep stage. I mean it was Friday so maybe they was busy. So waited about 30 40 more minutes and checked it again still in prep stage. So we called to get a status. We said we can go ahead and make it a carry out order and come get it to be faster. Person on phone said it will ne ready in 15 minutes waiting 20 and headed up to the store. 4 mi ites from house we was at. When I arrived they said they are just putting it in the oven. I waited another 20 30 minutes for the food to be finished. Went to the house to eat the food. That's when we noticed we did not get get cinnamon desert we ordered and paid for. At this point it was al.ost 3 hours from the original order being sent. With the time it took to get the order there wasnt a point in trying to get the food.
While in the store there was some language being said that didnt seem professional. They may have been repeating what another customer said on the phone because they sent them raw food from what I gathered from the conversation. All this being said I'll be stuck going back because my neice has gluten allergy and not many people have that option on menu. When that happens I will stop going...

Management was being rude to employees who were trying to assist me. I asked for a side of the hotwings sauce for my wings because you can't order it on the side in the app, and asked for a side of Alfredo sauce which the employee assisting was like cool. Manager freaked cancled the order and said nothing to me while wearing earbuds.
They were also playing music in the store too loudly to hear anything.
Following that, they "completed" my order 15 minutes before the food actually came out of the oven.
Slow to serve even though the lobby was empty.
Do better. Dominoes slogan is make it right then make it better.
Updating review. The store is getting better. Unfortunately, they are always short staffed, which isn't necessarily their fault. But the staff that are there are generally polite.
Ordering for delivery is super inconsistent because of a lack of drivers but is generally fast if they have one.
Quality of carry out is hit or miss depending on how staffed they are and how many orders they have.
Food is generally good and always hot, just sometimes not quite cut or extra toppings are not really extra.
If they could get some more help and get a label maker like other dominoes stores use, it would increase the...
